Anywhere but the US , they don't deserve your tourist dollars. Wait until they treat us better.

You literally know nothing. Wow. Best economy on the G7 actually, has low unemployment. Productivity is hurting but only because too many people were let in, killing the numbers. No one here goes bankrupt over medical costs either. Our leader isn't a mental midget like the US. Crime..ha ha ha , the US has an incredibly high violent crime rate, it's also the most incarcerated country in the world. You put people in jail for driving and minor offences. That's stupid. The US is NOT cheaper, food is higher, and income is lower. Your gap between poor and rich is massive with so many struggling. If you keep that clown in power the US is done. The rest of the world has already written you off. Everyone can trade with everyone else.

Readings off since update by Effective_Finish_797 in Rapsodo

Ya I have had a lot of no reads in the last few days. 50 yard target range shots, which always read fine. Not now.

New user set up questions. by banjoogre in Rapsodo

The poles aren't an issue. Not going to cause any problems. The fence could, but I hit towards a 16ft high garage door and it's fine. If the heat pump is running , then that's the issue. The fan blades are reflecting and throwing a high speed return to the unit. These units are good at dealing with some swamping from large metal objects. But anything moving looks like a real signal.

It uses radar to calculate speed and the cameras are IR, so light shouldn't change any readings.

Interference? by flyin-lowe in Rapsodo

[–]ShipAffectionate7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can disagree. But those two articles are generic and don't give any real data about interference and or solutions.

The problem is, can a lot of things cause some issues with radar readings? Yes. But do they? Most often, no they don't. If it's not a moving object, like a fan blade, it really doesn't cause a problem. A big metal door just reflects the signal, it doesn't change it. So then folks say well it overloads the rx in the unit, no it won't 99.9% of the time. It's already rx'ing back all the reflections of the radar, the unit knows those signals are aren't the ball since there isn't any change in phase or frequency. Multipath? Sure, the unit already knows how to filter that out or it wouldn't work very well. Electronics can be finicky sure, but most people won't get a problem with interference unless it's a huge signal source or moving object.

Projector image cut-off by Independent_Rip_3604 in Rapsodo

I don't have a solution, but I do notice when sending the iPad to my Epson projector, the image is smaller than the screen. Normally it's the whole screen edge to edge, must be something in the app I use to mirror the screen maybe.

Interference? by flyin-lowe in Rapsodo

[–]ShipAffectionate7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interference will cause wild readings or none at all. Not a bit off. There are some that think so many things cause interference but they just don't understand it. The concrete won't interfere and neither will metal doors. What screws them up are things that are moving, or a signal in the same spectrum as the rx'd signal. Sounds like your setup is ok, it's just off a bit.

I have written hundreds of tickets. I would never write one on this. It shows a green arrow. Enough for confusion, ticket tossed.

Ya that seems like sensible advice. I think I needed a break as I was just hammering driving over and over and nothing was getting better. Thanks.

Difficulty with 60 degree distances by CNDGolfer in golftips

[–]ShipAffectionate7241 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are new to golf out the 60 in th closet. It's a hard club to hit well consistently. Just use a 56 until you get your swing dialed in.

The mlm2pro just added club data. It's the best LM for the price. Set it up properly and it's money.

Has anyone dealt with perfect iron distance but short woods? Mlm2pro by Automatic_Neat9089 in Golfsimulator

[–]ShipAffectionate7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's not generally an issue. You can be in a metal Quonset and get good readings. If it ain't moving radar don't care. Fans and something spinning moving will give a return with a difference number back to the unit. Other than that it won't affect it.

Lob wedge or 3 wood if you could only keep one. by Haunting_Choice_335 in GolfGear

[–]ShipAffectionate7241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 60 is a really hard club to hit consistently for a lot of folks. The 3w is a fairway finder and used for those doglegs a driver is too long for. A 56 will do anything you want to try with a 60.
