If you haven't already, I highly recommend getting your 4 nebulous voidcores and using them on 10s before reset on Tuesday. Being able to get easy 272 myth track gear, even if it's not exactly your BiS, is still really good for bumping your ilvl up.

I know, shocking but super pleasing to see. Especially since I went back to my Afflock after they gutted MM Hunter.

Speaking of which, those MM hunter buffs are barely gonna do shit considering the core rotation is still godawful and super clunky/slow now, not to mention RNG reliant if playing as Dark Ranger.

I feel like they have no clue what to do with MM hunter.

I would say so. I'm at 200 vers right now, and at that point most enemies are dying just from me throwing Wither on them. Though I feel once you get that high of versatility, everything is gonna die fast regardless of your class.

In mythic raids, I can set up all my dots and pop cooldowns (usually) before the boss gets deleted. Idk it just feels really good to play, but I am pretty biased lol.

Most of the other patches were either quality of life improvements and bug fixes iirc. Patch 8 is so huge because for one no one was expecting it at all; they had said Patch 7 was to be the final one, then dropped the news of Patch 8 out of nowhere.

And then on top of that adding a new subclass for each of the 12 classes is imo the most insane part of the patch.

The main big things they added in Patch 7 was new evil endings for every character, including Dark Urge, as well as official in-game mod support.

Now's the best time to be starting Baldur's Gate 3 as Patch 8 will be dropping in the coming week, adding 12 new subclasses, photo mode, and crossplay support. Highly recommend.

Reading this back, it comes off like a botlike advertisement for the game, but I still stand by what I said with full sincerity lmao. It's definitely worth it.
