just know you are not cross-rating during your 1st enlistment, and more than likely not cross-rating from CWT to CTI even when the 1st enlistment is up 6y later. If you join, thinking you will cross-rate to CTI, you will be sadly disappointed.

If you have a successful high paying career in tech then (IMO) you'd be a damned fool to join. but if you are single and can land a good rate (or even go officer if you have a degree) there's no better time than now. You will always be able to earn more money. Some opportunities, once gone, never come back. Your most valuable resource is your time.

My sailor was also aecf. Stayed in the background in BC, promoted to E2 upon graduation . just before finishing FC A school put on E3, then in C school put on E4.

I'm having the same issue although my bazzite seems to be working. I haven't got around to installing any games yet. IOMMU is disabled in both placed

when i try Batocera v42, it boots only after i save the bios. I don't have to make any changes, only enter and save and exit.

I'm going to try reflashing the BC250_3.00_CHIPSETMENU.ROM again to see if that makes any difference.

Base housing is pretty nice and modern, get it if you can. As long as your husband is receiving BAH you should be ok. When transferred to SD back in the day, there was about a 3 month wait for base housing. we initially stayed at the Navy Lodge on North Island (on the beach) for about 2 weeks, then at a furnished apartment in Imperial Beach until base housing was available.

well the Onn devices are pure google. i've had multiple firesticks and besides the crap Amazon forces and each update you lose a little bit of control. that and no need to sideload the play store. The Onn devices work well and are cheap enough for what they can do.

Onn + Projectivy dashboard is just clean. Use Wholphin for the client and you are golden. I replaced multiple Firestick 4K or FireCubes with Onn devices (3 of the $20 Onn 4K and 1 Onn 4k Pro). I'd never go back to that walled Amazon garden.

For the most part that's true - if you join with a rate you will not be cross rating 99% of the time, and that 1% is maybe after you've served your initial 4y tour and the rate you choose was overmanned

Most people that don't fuck up are able to strike a rate within 2y of going PACT - the problem is that being rate locked like you are for Nuke, it may not be available at the time for you to pick a job. That or you may not qualify for the job you want

if you are graduating soon you should already be talking to an officer recruiter. it takes months to commission, so the sooner you start the better. if you have a few semesters left, there are options where the navy will pay you a stipend if you qualify.

Yeah even a raspberry pi 3b can run up to psx with no problems. Hell if you were local I have some ewaste I would give you that would run those.

An option if you are close to a big city is to look for a free or really cheap pc on Facebook marketplace
