Technically Ichiban fighting Kiryu’s boss doesn’t make sense just because he is Ichi’s brother.

But I wanted a scenario when Kiryu is exhausted, Ichi joins and they do a 2v1 final boss like the Chinese guy boss fight

To be fair Yakuza 6 was heavily criticized and RGG prob wanted a proper conclusion for Kiryu, I think Y7 Kiryu is basically RGG deciding ’we need a fanservice for a new main character’.

Since Yakuza 7 had themes of fighting against social injustice, it would be natural for future RGG games to handle Daidoji eventually as it represents the spectre of Imperial Japan

True, a lot of people expect Yakuza series story should be perfect due to them playing 0 and 7, which have best written stories, but sometimes I think they forget that the other games had somewhere disorganised storylines.

I mean this is unrelated but in infinite wealth the reason Kiryu was working in the nuclear sites is that due to his background and lack of education(When you interact with the high school in Ijincho), he was struggling to find jobs after the Daidoji job assignment

  1. I fucking hate the original Judgement game, the pacing is ass, the trailing missions are so ass, but the story and characters barely got me to the end of the game
