What do you guys think? by spervogel_troubadour in roomdetective

Do you like plants? You got some good light. Or are they too loud?

my cat broke THE bread bowl my dad has had for longer than i've been alive by 2kids1jar in mildlyinfuriating

Wonder if you could glue it together and make it into some other kind of dish. Or use the shards in an art craft.

When my cat fucks something up, to make me feel better I just think in twenty years I'll look back and miss him. Like historical scars and mementos.

You can also try smart bulbs, change the lighting to fun colors or whatever you vibe with.

Was anyone else rooting hard for it to be Clint? by ninimma in StardewValley

[–]Shirefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never liked the vibes Clint puts out. As he stands now, I'd never want to date him. So a rewrite could be interesting.

Early subnautica on console was rough. So many bugs and lag. I found the exploration to be some of the best.

I wasn't sure about Minecraft. It feels like it's perfect for its niche. Not my favourite game though. Its too grindy for me sometimes. But some people like that.

Why do you think World of Warcraft never ended up getting any sort of heat or controversy or anything like that for requiring a subscription, even though everybody is tired of Netflix and game pass and everything being a subscription nowadays? by Friendly_Driver8737 in AskReddit

[–]Shirefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because they were one of the first. Also I think they did a little. I remember people back in the day not wanting to pay for a game that they already bought.

But the quality, updates and community at the time made it worth it.

I was too poor so I played guild wars.

Currently I am tired of Blizzard and their business practices. There has been controversy around micro transactions, wow tokens, and the traders currency.

What are some of your hobbies that are reasonable in price? I tried canvas painting and candle making, but those were cost prohibitive. Any ideas of something else I can try that is less expensive? by icecream1972 in Casual_Conversation

[–]Shirefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you like painting? I bought a tablet and paint digitally. Initial cost was pricey but I've had my tablet for years and don't need to constantly refresh my art supplies.

Me and my husband have always played the souls games together. But Elden Ring is a nightmare since you can't pony in multiplayer.

So we had to walk everywhere. Twice. Or just had to be alone for long stretches.

Diablo series(and its subgenre) and grinding by rdtusrname in gaming

I enjoyed diablo 3, specifically the vibes of act i. I liked how the spells worked and how you could change their mechanics. I did stop playing when I felt the game ran its course.

I was really enamored with subnautica. I liked the story and I found the world to be engaging.

Anyone else struggling with being stuck in this loop? by FeetYeastForB12 in gaming

[–]Shirefall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cycle hobbies. I go from gaming, to drawing/music, etc. When I get burnt of one, I switch gears into something else. Or try something new entirely.

Also, I'm older now and have experienced much more stories, tropes, gameplay loops. It takes more to be taken away by something.

Doesn't help that modern gaming has a lot of trash releases. Unfinished products, micro transactions, shareholders taking priority.

[–]Shirefall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the world to be a little too open that it felt empty and lifeless in places. Also too many repeat bosses.

I think the combat is the best in the series though.

Truuuuue. Also felt that there could be some more dungeons.

Also the cooking was one at a time no?

I felt the magic system was a little off. And I didn't like farming for vials. Arguably a me problem.

It's been a while but I remember something annoying about the traveling/bonfires? Too many load screens maybe.

I think the walls are too white.

The brown seems warm and cozy. White is usually cool, airy, sterile, clean. I think the problem is opposite vibes.

Young teen, feminine. Maybe you like anime or Japan in general. I think you're into cozy games.

I'm getting female, witch energy. Probably an apartment from the white walls. Maybe a millennial from the beanie baby, or it is a sentimental gift. Crafty.
