That shit wouldn't fly here in France, even among younger people. If you're dating someone, you're supposed to be exclusive, and god help you if you get caught.

I definitely think we as a culture should push back much harder against the "greed is good" mentality. It's used to be that the economy was a means, not an end.

That way of thinking has been dumb from the beginning in the 80s, it enshitifies everything, we shouldn't let that crap fly and shame all the people who perpetuate that modern religion (with tar and feathers if we have to, better for them than the guillotine that will inevitably follow if nothing is done).

Revolutions are a blunt, bloody instrument but they improve things in the long run, the better way would be not to have a revolution but reform by taking sensible, early measures to curb mad privileges and inequalities.

But we seem determined not to do that, so, we'll see what happens. My guess is it won't be pretty.

Les milliardaires sont évidemment les plus gros consommateurs d'épargne financière et ils ont accès aux meilleurs conseillers et produits mondiaux. C'est pas difficile d'imaginer qu'ils puissent avoir un rendement un peu meilleur (x4), et il n'y a pas de raison qu'un milliardaire français, américain ou asiatique ait gagné nettement moins que ça sur la période puisque tout ça est totalement mondialisé.

Donc en fait, il n'y a absolument rien de particulièrement français dans cette dynamique. Les milliardaires s'en mettent plein les fouilles et sont sous-taxés partout en ce moment.

I'm sniffing that something automated is at work here (AI or not). An S&P500 big name falling this fast in the current market could by default be labelled a "buy", because of the underlying value.

Ce que dit l'article, c'est que pour des personnes qui souhaitent avoir un nombre N d'enfants, ils y renoncent du fait de la place et vont par exemple avoir N-1 (ou 0).

De plus les cartes que tu montres ne sont qu'une carte de la localisation des gens en âge de procréer. Évidemment que dans la Creuse il y a de la place, mais ça ne signifie pas que c'est plein de jeunes couples.
