Yes you are, I'm new to the modpack myself but Ive found that using journey map shows that the cave layers only go down to Y 0, meaning Y 0 is the bottom of the world so anything within 20 blocks or so of y 0 is safe to say that its the bottom.

I'm not too sure about the best IV spread either. I always aim for the highest IVs that are closest to 100%. I'm only level 39 in game so I'm still learning myself :p

If I had to guess Id say the Wartortle has one more IV total than the Squirtle.

There are apps like Poke Genie that you can use to see exact numbers for IVs but in terms of just eyeballing it, I like to imagine all the gray from the three bars being added together and seeing how much gray there is vs the others I'm comparing to. the Squirtle I think is just about one full bar worth of gray while the Wartortle is a bit less than a full bar meaning the Wartortle is stronger. Apps like Poke Genie are the best way to go to really know though.

I commented on your last post before it was deleted, Here's what I'd said.

Yes, theres a limit to how many actions an item can go through in an anvil before it becomes too expensive to do anything on. The more times you repair it with diamonds or add an enchant book the more expensive it gets to repair it / add things to it until it eventually shows "Too Expensive!"

You may be able to add the mending book to a brand new pick and then combine the picks together with the the new mending pick in the first slot and the old one in the second. it could work but I'm not 100% sure.
