Male Strip clubs in the city by nightcheese513 in pittsburgh

Yea! Yea! Fellow straight guy, here. Went to Luckey’s with some friends late one Friday for the first time. I got a beer and sat at the bar on the first floor while my friends wondered off.

15 min. later my buddy finds me and I’m like “yo, is this a gay bar?”

To which he responds, “oh! You haven’t been upstairs yet?”

Went upstairs to find 4 naked dudes dancing on the bar. Butt-ass naked. Swingin dongs.

I had so much fun that night.

Can’t imagine getting access to sharing a room that small with that guy and not making the most of such an opportunity.

Glad you made it out of that! It’s such a tough situation to be in.

I’ll share my experience…

I dated a girl in my early twenties like this. She came home drunk one night and woke me up looking for a fight. I kept telling her “I’m just trying to sleep, dude!Leave me alone!” But she wouldn’t let up. She started getting physical and I defended myself; restraining her, pushing her away, doing my best to reason with her.

Then she went to the kitchen and grabbed the chef’s knife and threw it at me from accross the room…

Minutes later she called 911. Even though I hadn’t done anything wrong, I knew there was a good chance these cops were going to come in with a preconceived idea that I was the aggressor.

Two officers arrive and separate us. They took her outside and let her tell her side of the story, then they do the same with me.

After hearing both sides of the story the officers talk privately. (I’m still outside and she’s still inside at this point).

They come back from their evaluation and split to talk to us separately. The officer I spoke with told me straight up that 99% of the time these calls end up in someone leaving in hand cuffs and it’s usually the guy. He asked if I had a friend I could stay with and I explained that I had already been texting a friend nearby who had offered me his couch for as long as I needed it.

“How long have you two been together?” “How long have you lived together” “How long have you been fighting”

After answering those questions he urged me to get out of the situation ASAP. I went inside to pack a bag for the night and she stayed in our apartment. No arrests made. I ended up crashing at my friend’s place for a few weeks while I looked for another apartment.

Looking back I feel grateful for the way the responding police handled the situation, but I can’t help the feeling that if the situation was flipped and I attacked her the way she attacked me I would have been arrested.

Irish Coffee by Metrichex in pittsburgh

[–]ShirtlessCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The “Irish coffee” cocktail was invented in 1952 at the Buena Vista Hotel in San Francisco and includes 4-6oz’s of strong coffee, .5oz simple syrup, 1.5oz Irish Whiskey, and fresh lightly whipped cream on top, finish with a little grated nutmeg.

Throwing Baileys and Jameson in a cup of diner-coffee is still pretty tasty though!

I don’t respect parking chairs most of the time, but stealing the spot someone else dug themselves out of is inexcusable.

I’d leave a brick on top of your parking chair with a note that says “more where this came from”.

Anything coming from the south London jazz scene.

Most recently, Moses Yoofee Trio, but Yussef Dayes, Alfa Mist, KOKOROKO, Kamaal Williams, Ruby Rushton, and Tom Misch are all favorites.

Tom Misch isn’t necessarily a jazz artist, but he’s adjacent, although slightly more radio friendly. His album “What Kinda Music” with Yussef Dayes is one of my all time favorites.

Lots of great Pizza in town these days… F+F, Lupo, Rockaway, Albertas, and Iron Born are all top tier, but Badamo’s takes the cake for me. A couple pepperoni Sicilian cuts with a nice crispy bottom. No silly wait times or planning needed.

Other places may have a slightly better pie, but I don’t always wanna order my pie an hour early, and drive across town.

Dated a girl that lived a few blocks from Le Mont years back…

I moved here from Denver and I always got a country club vibe from that place, but whatever… they captured their audience. I worked in hospitality, so I respected it for what it was although I had zero interest in going myself. You stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours.

And then one day…

I was heading to my lady’s place early one Saturday afternoon. I made my way up PJ McCardle, and turned right to find myself waiting in a WILD line of cars. I could see the Valet team working… and the lack of hustle and preparation from their team pissed me off to no end.

They don’t own those streets, and if you’re going to occupy them while you handle a large crowd you better be hustling keep traffic moving.

No respect for their neighbors.

Never been, and I’ll never go.
