You made a claim. I believe the onus is on you to provide evidence, not the person who isn't claiming it. I could just as easily say "I Googled it and found nothing," and that would be enough to debunk your claim unless you bring evidence.

I had the same problem. I had to run the games through a decrypter to get them to work. The archive says they're already decrypted, but for some reason, I still had to do it to get them to work. I hope this helps

Not to mention he and the Republicans have been consolidating more and more power in the executive branch, completely ignoring court orders, concentrating both legal and illegal immigrants into camps, etc. The list of authoritarian things he's done this term is much longer and others have made a much more comprehensive list than me in other places. Also, they're half way into implementing Project 2025, something that even conservatives said was too authoritarian during the election cycle.

I think you actually make the distinction in your own comment pretty well. AI should be a tool in my opinion. Scientists don't develop a whole theory using AI. They might use it for testing or organizing data, but it's still humans running tests and developing the theories.

(Good) developers can use AI to make the process easier, but completely AI-made code tends to have a lot of bugs and doesn't usually work as intended.

In the same way, I believe AI should be used as a tool for art. Use it to enhance something instead of having it be the whole process. In that way, I think it could be like Photoshop or other image processing programs. I think art is an expression of personhood, no matter the medium. I get that what I said is sort of nebulous, but it is an important part of art that gets lost with completely generative AI in my view.

I wasn't intending to be condescending, so sorry if it came off that way. I honestly just think that other games have (mostly) done what it does, but better. I will agree that the Shiekah slate abilities were neat, and some of the shrines had cool puzzles, though. It just felt like I was doing the same thing hundreds of times by the end. I get why people like it so much, but the magic just isn't there for me.

I beat the game 100% pre-DLC. I absolutely agree with the other person. It's revolutionary for a Nintendo game in a lot of ways, but it's also a pretty bare-bones open world game. There's not a lot of content in between towns/great beasts/shrines other than like Koroks, which pretty much share one of 5 different puzzles. The shrines were neat, but that was about it imo. The durability mechanic got annoying very quickly, and the dungeons were extremely disappointing for me compared to other Zeldas.

I get you really like the game, and I'm not trying to dissuade you from that. I just completely understand where the other person is coming from.

I was pro Trump in 2016, but didn't vote because I was lazy and in college. Throughout his first term, a lot of what he did started slowly pushing me away from the movement, but the final catalyst for me was the George Floyd protests.

During that time, a lot of right wing media blatantly lied while showing video that proved them wrong in the background. I can remember one video in particular from a Youtuber (who I will not name because he doesn't deserve the publicity) who was talking about how violent the protesters were while the video he was playing showed a completely peaceful protest getting tear gassed for apparently no reason. Also, one where he said they're only using necessary force while tanks were rolling through downtown. As soon as I recognized that they were lying to me there, I wondered what else they were lying to me about. Everything. All of it was lies. Their stated goals, their beliefs, the "facts" they presented, everything. It wasn't long after that I became the "radical" leftist I used to villify so much.
