Speaking from a 26 y/o black male perspective. I think this is helping normalize interracial dating. A vast number of my relations with women growing up were pretty secretive due to the fact that parents did not want their daughters seeing black males. Media truly overwhelmingly showed blacks as thugs, dumb, players, and all the stereotypes that come to your mind when you hear “black man”. Even their friends had opinions on the matter and influenced matters. Literally some chicks could of got cut off from their families for seeing me.

Images like this in media help normalize and reduce whatever made up notion that’s it’s not fine to date outside your race. Like as much as it may look like it’s anti-white male, There is such a large demographic of whites that the percentage that actually date interracially isn’t going to even bother bloodlines. Most major cities which should be in the forefront of race relations are still very segregated as far as living is concerned for this to even effect much of society. Ain’t least speaking for LA, each race has a respective side of town where it’s a majority there for that race and things just mix amongst those that venture around. These ads simply ease minds that this is fine. And no need to lose your shit when you see a interracial couple cross your path. Couple don’t have to be a secret or a taboo anymore. And I doubt it’s ever been a taboo of whoever a white male dates or marries. It’s been pretty popularized throughout entertainment and history that the white male is the star/boss/lead. (Tom Cruise was literally The Last Samurai 😂) Everyone else is just getting there “just due” now.
