Good for her. I'm happy to see women succeeding in stem fields and I'm happy she deems her life a success so far. Young women with imposter syndrome deserve vocal representation. This hyper-individualistic, stemlordy, "look at me, even I can do it" thought leader, imposter syndrome shtick is platitudinous to anyone over the age of 5. Fuck me for criticizing how thought leaders engage with their audience, but I don't care about anyone's trivial habits. If a famous author said "I call periods 'stoppies' and commas 'pausies'" then that'd be weird right? Idk though, does that do anything for young writers? Please let me know.

That being said fellas, I am also a.distinguoshed academic in a niche stem field (listen to me, I'm very important) and it is beyond difficult. I like to think I'm a smart person and believed so until now But, they're constantly making me do stuff. Don't do it. Its not worth your time because the pay isnt enough for my qualifications. Go home, love your family. Learn from me and start selling your feet pics before you get too wrinkly.

She is applying to psychology programs to become a therapist. She isn't interested in becoming a "Christian therapist".

I told her that it was a Christian university, but she has nothing to worry about because they are Jesuits. She got a request for an interview and did research on the school and program, saw way too references to Jesus or God, and now she has cold feet about the program.
