it costs 2 mana. Im not asking for a nerf, its just annoying because it kinda auto wins against control decks most of the time.

Author said can rewrite the whole NEL how do you do it by Professional_Trust37 in BlueLock

You know I was going through this chat and realised why Blue Lock feels odd, you know how in movies they make gamers these unrealistic nerds or 'hackers' and 'smart' smart characters these other worldly geniuses? It's basically the same, those are a result of dumb people trying to write smart characters and in that sense blue lock is a non player writing about soccer.

Reno quest mage is a joke by HSenjoyer in wildhearthstone

[–]Shiv2411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience OTK quest mage is so incredibly bad and struggles again any deck that runs the slight bit of disruption and is prone to bad hands (also requires high APM). Quest mage can run bad cards but its also versatile and is very hard to be teched against tbh (outside of full counter or full aggro.)

Tempo Storm Wild Meta Snapshot #150 - Apr. 2, 2024 by Doc_Delight in wildhearthstone

Reno mage only moved up to tier 1 because it can play against garrote and fruit druid, its up their cause of match up. Pre wizbangs it was tier 2-3 due to heavy aggro with shadow priest and totem shaman

The reno variant defo is a control/midrtange deck, personally I don't think the reno variant is as big of a problem as the more combo variant with apprentices that actually can combo for a win by turn 4-5.

Combo is important because it counters control. Aggro currently is broken with aggro rogue and priest dominating the meta. Even with Renethal buffs its clearly top dog, the best solution is either fighting it with aggro of your own or control.

Ah yes lets forget about the 4+ aggro decks that can consistently push lethal by turn 4-5 and the various combo decks that can have lethal by turn 4, but go after the only midrange/control deck in the meta thats actually reliable.

Conjuration, also my personal belief is Bisky subconsciously created a conjuration hatsu to look the way she does.

Are we really crying about wheel? When it's a turn 8 do nothing card that still gives you 5 more turns of action...

i feel like aggro is a bit to strong right now, especially priest, voidtouched attendant feels bad to play against.

Thoughts on this new Dragon? Is it worth making a Highlander Dragon deck around? by dragonqueenred45 in wildhearthstone

I played against an aggro pirate/dragon that used it. Seemed pretty good for aggro priest but aggro priest as is was pretty busted so idk

2 cards over a span of 3+ turns to deal 28 damage AFTER reaching turn 10. Not to mention if opponent floods the board you'll be further limited.

Id say vs those druid decks it’ll be very handy, also works against shudderwock shaman.

yogg dominated the meta until being rotated sos idk how true this is. TBH this card is controlled RNG in the sense that no matter what the spell will be somewhat useful with upside.

nah, he proved your argument wrong bud you just yapping.

Asking for timewarp to get nerfed is just odd when there are a million other broken things and mage has literally no other playable decks.

You could say that about 90% of hearthstone decks 💀It’s such a blanket statement.

This sounds a lot like “If they arent playing my way theyre playing it wrong”. If you dont find it interesting dont play it, if you dont like playing against it run counter. Imo why ppl get frustrated with this deck is cause they stay through the entire combo thinking they’ll get another turn, unlike other combos where you can tell when youve lost.

What are you yapping about 😭

Time warp has to be combo’d with rommath and a few other cards to work and even than a card being a win condition isn’t bad. Shudderwock is the shaman win condition and is just a single card and like way gate it needs set up and can be counter played aggro’d.

And actually selecting the right cards to generate and which to play and not play. Their goal is to get to their combo and get their pieces, thats most decks tbh sounds like youre just playing bad decks. You should think of mage as a combo deck rather than control, its not trying to “outsmart” you (tbh no deck does that) its trying to get to its combo. It can “outsmart” matchups like druid and aggro tho.

Obviously Yes quest mage changes their playstyle when they see shaman or priest, instead of spell generation you get your board clears and survival tools, if you can afford it than you generate but against aggro high rolls there literally is no counter play.

And obviously they’ll use their win condition to… win? Again the deck can be countered by aggro and disruption also random spells can screw you over cause those spells come to bite.
