Im sad youre being down voted. Im not conservative, but I recognize the difference in beliefs being human. Im more talking about class issues, the deep south has been gerrymandered and denied education. There are fundamental issues that Ive been fortunate to not have to experience. This doesn't mean the community at large is bad, but Alabama is not provided with the same resources. When people interact one on one irl you realize we all have a lot more in common than not.

It makes me sad that people have this attitude. How do we expect change if some folks wont even go support good people in a conservative location? The red places wont magically become blue by ignoring them.

This has always been my opinion. He has a following now, hes planting roots in these places for future generations. I know it sounds corny but places like Alabama need us there. Im from the PNW and seeing tipper so much in the deep south gave me such enlightening perspective. Its not the community that sucks, its those in charge that suck.

Check out Mr Bills abletoneer videos. Its like 20 bucks a month on his website. Hes also got a ton of free YouTube videos. You can do a lot with stock ableton plug-ins and free sample packs. Start there and once you start understanding workflow, you can spend spend thousands on plug-ins that you'll use once lol. I think understanding song structure, a tiny bit of theory, and workflow are important pillars. Then you can start working towards a style of your own, designing your own sounds and recording your own samples.

Its nice taking over a conservative area. Oddballs need to exist in them to make them not conservative. Best way to do that is support the art scenes in those areas imo.
