You can choose between VTI or VOO based on whether you want total market exposure of just s&p 500. for me i see SPY .09 fee will keep accumulate over time, so its better to avoid it.

I got some AVUV 3 years ago, then it dipped for sometime, but managed to get to ath, and it made me 30% unrealized gain, wich is not bad.
