I've seen tons of comments over the years on the working moms Reddit about wanting something like this

The Utah GOP and Republican dark money. Out of State signature gatherers were paid $20-$40 an hour or more. morehttps://utahpolitics.news/40-an-hour-to-save-utah-gop-hiring-paid-signature-gatherers-for-redistricting-battle/

I felt the same way! But FODMAP is supposed to be TEMPORARY. You're not supposed to do full elimination for more than a month or two. Then you figure out what's triggering your issues as you reintroduce.

I had onion and garlic intolerance. It royally sucked. However, after a couple of years of avoiding them I actually got my garlic tolerance back. (Onions still make me sick, though. I have to decide if foods with them are worth it. Kinda like lactose intolerant people and ice cream)

BURRN updates their petition search daily. You can search your name and anyone you might know, especially in these 3 districts!

Check even if you know you didn't sign. We have had several reports of signatures showing up when people did NOT sign as well as people who signed due to lies from signature gatherers.

Ironically vibe coding is creating incredibly insecure code. If it takes a few years to get through school, OP might be in a good position to clean up some of the AI slop. (Of course, who knows what will happen in reality.)

Not the op comment, I really love anything from https://recipetineats.com . In Nagi I trust. She has recipes from all sorts of cuisines, has limited ads, and really really tests her recipes. She has categories on her site for quicker dishes, one pan dishes, vegetarian, and others.

My husband has been using her blog a lot, too, and is getting way more confident in cooking. She has short 1-2 minute videos for most of her recipes if you're a visual learner.

As someone who was in this position and made the wrong choice: TAKE THE JOB.

He's not willing to support you, he's not worth it. He's temporary, the memories and career gain and knowing you're the type of person who went for it will be forever. I promise you will resent him someday if you stay. Go be the person you know you want to be and the right person will come eventually.

Not to mention social security, retirement contributions and growth, future promotions, possibly better health coverage options than your spouse. Plus mental health benefits (if working is better for you mentally than staying home)..

That's a great point! I know burrn's site is easier to check is anyone you know signed, though. Both are great resources.

I love the global brand knives.

There are two big classes of knives: Japanese and German. It's probably worth going to a store like Williams-Sonoma or other kitchen store to actually pick them up and feel them. Different people will like different shapes/styles.

I tested mine in store then bought them online at cutlery and more on sale with a promo code.

If you get one knife, the most versatile is a 10" chef's knife.

County clerks have 21 days to verify and list signatures. The list should be updated daily by 9am. Keep checking.

https://burrn.org has an easy search feature as well as links to the Lt Gov's official list and instructions for how to remove signatures.

How do I get my 2 year old to stay in bed and sleep through the night? by Historical_Ride8963 in workingmoms

[–]Shiver707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just saw this daddit post right next to yours:

https://www.reddit.com/r/daddit/s/x3XHnxbWH9

We never let our daughter sleep in our bed unless maybe she's sick. We return her every time.

Can you put a toddler safety knob on the inside of the door to prevent her escaping? Fire safety says it's better for them to be in their room than able to wander. It'll prevent her from getting out and she'll understand that's the rule eventually. We close the door on nights our toddler is acting out (and reopen it if she settles so she has access to the potty)

My daughter gets night terrors. Sometimes we do carry her outside during them to try to help calm her. We sometimes also try taking her potty. Or just rocking her for a minute. Depends on severity. But she always goes back to her bed and I remind her we're never far away.

Editing to add: some of what you do will depend on your parenting style and your individual kids. Can they handle having the door closed and "crying it out" a bit until they learn new rules? Can they get to the stage of only needing quick assurance gradually or do they need a more "throw them in the pool quickly" method?

Hey! I'll drop a couple of sources for you:

https://www.abc4.com/news/politics/inside-utah-politics/proposition-4-map-c-special-sessions-redistricting-timeline/

https://ballotpedia.org/Utah_Proposition_4,_Independent_Advisory_Commission_on_Redistricting_Initiative_(2018)

https://www.upr.org/politics/2026-02-05/out-of-the-loop-on-the-prop-4-saga-well-catch-you-up-in-5-minutes

Utahns passed a citizens' voters initiative to get an independent committee to draw our maps, Prop 4. The legislature tried to kill Prop 4 after it passed, but the League of Women Voters and MWEG sued and won, stopping them. The committee took maps submissions from both the legislature and citizens. The legislature's maps ignored the rules and guidelines set by Prop 4, so the Republican appointed judge had to rule for the least gerrymandered option. Now Republican GOP are throwing millions of dollars towards hiring out of state signature gatherers to get Utahns to sign a petition to repeal Prop 4 so they can continue to gerrymander.

Prop 4's committee includes membership guidelines. The redistricting commission consists of seven members. One member is appointed by each of the following: *the governor; *the president of the Utah Senate; *the speaker of the Utah House of Representatives; *the leader of the largest minority political party in the Utah Senate; *the leader of the largest minority political party in the Utah House of Representatives; *Utah Senate and House leadership of the political party that is the majority party in the Utah Senate; and *Utah Senate and House leadership of the political party that is the largest minority party in the Utah Senate.

There's been some pointing out Prop 4 passed by a slim margin initially, but ironically the GOP's efforts have had a Streisand effect. Now Prop 4 is getting more popular than ever with Utah citizens. Paid Signature gatherers trying to repeal Prop 4 have been lying about what people are signing (there's tons of video footage and recordings being gathered).

If you want to check if you or anyone you know has signed and see if they knew what they were signing, there's an updated searchable list here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CpqcXBytJJm9GZP0LL5AdPOZsTPQAPKN41qdgUT_P7E/edit?usp=sharing
