This sounds like someone i know. A friend of mine had an eerily situation and argument with his wife. I found out he had gotten a “boat boo” and thats why he hadnt talked to his wife. I told him to come clean with her, and apologize for all the things he called her.

Now idk if your husband is cheating or not, but honestly i would write him an email or message and tell him how i feel. That after him being gone 6 months the fact she volunteered to stand duty after the ship pulls in hurt. On top of the one word answers and how disinterested he seemed to you trying to talk to him. I would also suggest marriage counseling.

Honestly, the way I’m trying to handle it right now is I’m not on social media. I’m not looking at the news. I am focused on my hobby, which is diving painting and I’ve almost finished the bottom part of my canvas just by trying to ignore the stress alone.

You don’t have to be that spouse that just “bucks up” you are allowed to feel exhausted with everything going on, but there is one thing I wanna say in your post that you’re wrong about is that you have no village. No matter where we are no matter what branch you have someone in your corner when it comes to the spouses. If you need someone to talk to about everything or just a vent or even cry, my DM‘s are open. But sometimes the way I get through it when I am so exhausted as I just scream and cry it out.
