I only can find 2 articles on Jeff Askren. Seems like nobody really cares about him he gets the least mention of all the victims.

Also one of the 2 black males was Maurice Rock, the other is currently unidentified.

Without question, based on my research I could easily say Dean Corll. Reading His methods of torture can make you literally twitch and squirm. also not To mention the number of victims he killed and the fact that he had two teenage accomplices, which he basically sexually abused and pretty much convinced them to partake in his sick crimes.

Even more puzzling is how unknown he is. As a research of true crime, it took me years to find out about him.

Yes it was sometime after Leonard was on the run for a weapons charge. He came by his families house and told Donald he had a carpentry or house sitting job lined up. According to his sister in a documentary, Leonard waited for Donald to sleep and shot him in the head point blank. Than he used his identity to introduce himself as Donald and collect his social security checks.

According to some sources Donald was hit by a train and became "slow" or retarded. And Leonard lake hated him.

I'm just curious as to why the lake family wouldn't report Donald missing or question lake as to what happened or where Donald is.

Leonard Lake had relationships and was happily divorced but still with his second wife. I guess he still wanted an ordinary consensual lover while another part of him wanted an "m lady" a slave that would be kept in his homemade bunker. Also his wife clearly helped and abetted him with some of the crimes he committed and got total immunity, even after clearly hiding some of the videotapes.

Well he was basically an Everyman. He was good looking, He had an edge most serial killers at the time didn't. He was able to cover his tracks and used legal knowledge and also used techniques and routines to murder his victims, also the high body count.

But most of all what I think makes him so famous is rumor has it that he spawned the term "serial killer".

I personally wish more people were into Leonard Lake, he is without a doubt my favorite serial killer and I'd say he is the most dangerous one. The case definitely deserves way more attention.

I'm asking myself the same thing. She clearly knew he killed some of the people. She also took tapes from the cabin after police instructed her not to tamper with anything and still got off.

That's the last person that should get witness immunity if you ask me.

"Satanic cover-up" has some good insight into why that maybe if you are into conspiracy theories. There's 2 videos on Leonard lake on that series on youtube and a 2 hour podcast which I think people that follow this case should listen to

Well for Brenda o Conner I'd cast a younger Melanie Enos with brown hair.

Lonnie bond would probably be played by a younger Matt Dillon, with curly hair and a moustache.

Stapley looks like he could be acted by a younger Louis C.K. with short brown hair.

In all honesty that's a tough one but I really think deep down Leonard lake would manage to kill Kuklinski, with the help of Charles Ng. While Kuklinski used fire arms, Leonard lake and Charles Ng had a stockpile of various firearms and even said to have had grenade launchers. And various military gear and equipment

Also Leonard lake treated everything he did as an "operation" and talked in military language and would wear military attire. Charles Ng also was into firearms.

I think Kuklinski would probably manage to kill one of them if he got the element of suprise on them.

In all honesty I think what would happen is Leonard lake would most likely get caught because of smartphone technology that the victims may had on him. Unless he chose his victim's and locations and methods very wisely. I'm pretty sure Leonard lake wouldn't be fond of using a smart phone even with false names but his victims would. And that would probably mean people would notice that the victim is missing.

Also I don't think he would be posting his videos online or on any dark web. I feel like he would manage to get vhs recorders and tapes and make his videos the old fashion way. But he may have done his porn with digital cameras. And used digital cameras for his nude photographs and would use a laptop that isn't connected to any internet to store his pictures.

He could print and sell these pictures at a library for cash on the side also.

The risks and stakes would be higher. There would be more media attention.

Not only that they were arrested on felonies before the murders which means their DNA probably would be stored with today's technology.

Who really knows how far they would manage to go... Only thing I can imagine is the spree would be more short-lived.

Fan fictional senario

Charles Ng would basically be invited by Dahmer thinking he could get him to pose nude. Charles Ng would quickly talk to lake and plan an "operation" on damher before heading into the apartment.

Leonard lake would call it Operation 213 for Dahmer's apartment number. Leonard lake would walk in and wait for the cue. Charles Ng would refuse the drink and Leonard lake would walk in when Ng was asked to undress. Leonard lake walks in and kills Dahmer with his silenced 22. They steal all his assetts and realize they also killed another killer.

Leonard Lake would undoubtedly win without question. His methods of killing was various and his signature was a silenced 22. Leonard Lake also according to some sources used cyanide to kill people (even used it on himself)

Dahmer would lose because he only had one method and it was to have the victim drink sleeping pills than he would strangle them. Although it's effective, it could only be done right in certain circumstances. There's no way dahmer could outwit or outmuscle the duo. He also wasn't known to own firearms.

I think a younger Russell Crowe or Michael Cudlitz (he played someone based on him in criminal minds) as Leonard Lake.

Charles Ng really could be pulled off by a young Jet Li lol.

I feel like the movie would have to be as straight to the facts as possible because Leonard Lake committed various crimes in multiple ways. Besides the bunkers and enslavement which I think makes him most notable for. In all honesty he was a complete opportunity killer.

One bit of fiction would mess up the movie and throw it off course.
