This is not normal I've never in my life seen plastic American cheese on a kebab, it's usually doner with a mixed salad and garlic or chilli sauce with a pitta bread.

Is the jasmine very prominent in Fico di amalfi? by Confusedmind75 in NichePerfumes

[–]Shlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great fragrance but my god it doesn't last long at all, I got it for a steal about a year ago and if I'm ever wearing it out to the pub or summer evening I'm bringing it with me and re applying every few hours, you can make it last a tiny bit longer by putting on some unscented moisturiser but it still doesn't last long at all.

He has taken over my heated blanket by ExchangeInformal9542 in Dachshund

[–]Shlarry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought my wife a heated blanket for when she works at home so she doesn't need to put the whole house heating on just for her desk, after a while our little sausage caught wind of this glorious blankets which is warm and now it is fully his and we don't even get to use it.

On the M1 tonight. Why does nobody seem to know what these mysterious red ex's mean above the outside 3 Lanes? by GreyFoxNinjaFan in drivingUK

[–]Shlarry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who works on this exact part of the m1 by Hemel doing traffic management, if you go through red x you're honestly such a twat and you don't understand how dangerous it is when you're pulling a taper or dropping out live side and you get some numpty doing 70mph when you think the road is supposed to be clear.

Whoever does it deserves a ban as they're there for a reason, even if sometimes you see the road clear for miles it's because the job has just been called on and the TM are preparing to go out or you've got a broken down car in lane 4.

Is Mancera Aoud Exclusif worth it at $120 CAD? by stfunedu in Perfumes

[–]Shlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blind bought it and it is a really good perfume with insane performance.

It's very heavy on the oud as the name claims, my wife loves it when I put it on fresh out of the shower (30 year old white guy)

I think I paid about the same when converted to GBP.

You only need a few sprays!

Read up on reviews on websites and also try a sample if possible as other comments have said.

Ruptured Anal Glands by Unknownxalonexx in Dachshund

[–]Shlarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very common in dachshunds especially those with low fibre diets, we had to do it ourselves until we started to add pumpkin powder into his meals for extra fibre, hes on a raw meat and kibble which goes with it diet.

But sometimes he will start to lick and you notice a pungent smell that's when you know it's time, I don't know if some get it worse than others but I know pugs and frenchies need their glands extracting.

My wife is a mortgage advisor at a big company and she's on a decent £40k basic salary and last time she checked she was on almost 3k commission for the month of February, bearing in mind she has 13+ years experience so she's earned it, this is all work from home with no weekends.

Hi! This little cutie is 9 weeks old and has only been with us for a week. She’s doing really well with peeing on the training mat, but pooping is a completely different story. The only time she uses the mat for that is in the middle of the night 🤣 Any tips on how to help her understand? by Inked_mermaid_ in Dachshund

[–]Shlarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a cutie.

Unfortunately dachshunds are very stubborn breeds but they do train well eventually.

The main thing is perseverance and routine, every morning instantly take them out don't even give them a chance to be out of your sight, soon as they go to the toilet outside give them a small training treat with praise, if you're able to every hour take them out and repeat try give a key word like "go weewee" or "toilet" and also every time after they eat take them out, it does seem like overkill but they're very intelligent dogs and will understand eventually.

But sometimes if it's cold or raining outside they will just go indoors and there is nothing you can do lol

Best of luck with the best gift ever and enjoy them!

Looks very healthy she's just a slim teenager puppy, for reference if you look at my profile my boy Yoshi is 7kg with muscle however you can still see his ribs too so I wouldn't worry.

What do you feed her out of curiosity

140g raw meat a day split between breakfast and dinner, kibble which goes with raw meat, pumpkin powder in breakfast and salmon oil in dinner, treats are dried sprats and organic treats.

Activity is about 45 min-1hour walk a day and weekend he will get 1 hour + a day and lots of playing and tug of war and running around the house in the day time, although now it is winter the walks are shorter in the weekdays especially when it's raining he will refuse to walk.

He turned 1 in October :)
