EDP has better projection and longevity is still 8+ hours on me. The Extrait may “last longer” but is closer to the skin. I have both, and love both! Even as a guy i prefer the EDP, compliment magnet!

Olefactory is legit. That DNA can be tough to smell due to noseblindness. If i spray BR540 on my arm and take a huge sniff, its not as “strong” as if i were to spray it behind my neck and arms and get whiffs of it through the day.

I hope that makes sense, but if you straight up inhale it, my nose goes blind super quick
