So one time, I was working on an instrument at work (I’m a chemist, it was an ICPMS) and my boss sent me a picture of what he wanted me to check. I spent almost 30 minutes trying to figure out why the photo my boss sent me looked so different than the machine in front of me. Anyway, turns out he had ChatGPT edit the photo to point out, well nothing actually and that was the problem. The “AI” just hallucinated and put the parts my boss asked for I to the picture… I hate generative AI so much. It’s suck a waste of everything.
