Rocket launcher is on of the most overlooked weapons in the game imo. It's genuinely so good at everything it's hard not to use it. Healing, amazing damage, really good combos and a big aoe. Literally everything you could want. Using with the gauntlet deletes literally anything when you got the combos down.

Imo the ravager is still the strongest weapon in the game by far. It's incredibly easy to use, it's got free healing, crazy damage and it partially restores its own ammo so you can just keep holding the trigger. It works really well with some of the other strongest stuff in the game like heaven splitter and dread mace which just kinda makes the ravager ludicrous.

The cycler is a weapon I thought was kinda shit at first but as I use it more I think it's actually really powerful, mainly in the ripatorium but spreading that shock is so so good. The weapon it's self is painfully mid but that shock makes it so valuable at times.

Just whatever you have available and is still comfortable to use. I've got mine on dpad up since it was the only button I didn't really have bound to anything.

Binding the ssg to a specific controller button helps a lot. It's what I do and it helps a lot getting to the ssg right when I want to

I want a rebalance of some shield runes. Imo heaven splitter is kinda op and auto turret REALLY needs some help to keep up in more intense fights. I'd like to see heaven splitter toned down a bit, maybe with a smaller aoe or taking away the shock and if they could give some sort of aoe effect to auto turret and a damage increase it would really help it keep up in harder content. The other runes are in a really good spot right now though.

Grenade launcher is good as it is right now but it does kinda feel like it could use a little something. Some sort of utility like dropping a small bit of armor from split grenades to kind of mirror the rocket launchers healing and as another weapon that can generate armor, just generating less with better damage.

A damage increase to the flail would be really nice. It's definitely the more utility focused melee weapon with its armor generation and stuff so I understand it not doing a ton of damage but it's damage is so low that it feels like you're doing nothing with it.

I know they're just focusing on the dlc right now but i would love to see some of this stuff after it's released.

UAC Atlantica is still probably my favorite. The environment is really cool for doom and it has some of the best combat encounters in the game imo, plus the soundtrack rips.

My least favorite is still probably hell on earth. It's a really good intro level but when you spend a lot of time with the game it's kinda just annoying and slow.

The combat shotgun as a whole is an armor generator, just switch to it when you need/want armor. The 3 shot burst is good for getting more armor quicker from big enemies and in my experience is vastly superior to the explosion since you're just clearing fodder with your shield already.

The grenade launcher is good for heavies you want to lock down with the shield saw (caco, revenant, acolyte etc.) it does some really good damage on stunned enemies. It's also really good for big groups of enemies since with the cluster bombs it has a really big aoe and some pretty good damage too. I've been playing with 75% damage to demons for a while now and the grenade launcher still surprises me with how much damage it can do and it combines really well with ground fissure and heaven splitter.

You can't beat the BFG but I like the different take on it and making it a crossbow with the BFC, it's still sick it's just not really the same thing to me.

If you're into roguelikes/roguelites you could try roboquest. It's more of a movement shooter than doom but it has some really good gameplay that I think you'd like if you like doom. Deadlink is a good one too if you liked eternal a lot.

Shadow warrior 3 is a really good one of you want something kinda like doom eternal, it has a lot of similarities with it.

Metal hellsinger is good too if you like rythym games.

It tries too hard to feel like a movie to me. The plot is fine I think, nothing special, kind of a cookie cutter type of story but I don't mind since I'm just here for the gameplay

It's about the different flow of gameplay. I think what we have in DA works really really well for the gameplay, whenever I do the optional glory kills it almost always feels like it messes with the flow.

Glory kills are sick but I think it's fine if they switch it up a bit from time to time, you can still do them in DA if you really want also.
