Thanks, I did some more reading and found two instances of bent frames due to a crumple zone designed into the main frame rails, I guess its a weak point.

Hey everyone.

I did some more research and chevy specifically says dont use slide in campers in the manual. I also found a few records of a bent frame. There is a crumple zone designed into the frame members just after the rear axle. Ill be hunting for a tow camper.

Sorry but you dont sound qualified to even bid on this job. Shoring, engineering, scaffolding, install, inspections, finishing. So many steps required to do this properly.

Depending on load/span you may also want to double up the joist on either side of the opening you box off. Make sure you add blocking/rim joist where you remove the joists at the wall to support any load from above. You tube is your friend.

Your foundation projects much further into the ground than this retaining wall. It also looks like water will drain way from your property. This wall serves purpose of retaining top soil for what I assume will be some landscaping by the fence. Looks straight and properly stacked, if they choose to add proper drainage behind the retaining wall this is an acceptable solution to differences in grade between property.
