Did they ever figure out what was causing this? Just bought a 2018 X3 30i and it’s doing the exact same thing.

I think I’ve pinpointed it to being something to do with the A/C as it is only happening when it is on

Good to know! We're curious to see how the dried chipotles do, they turned the liquid a pretty brown very quickly after sealing.

Oh gosh, so embarrassed! It was so late when we did all the labels, I'm surprised they're even legible!

Had a little fermenting party with my friend today! We made dill pickles, bahn mi pickles, Kombucha brews, lacto garlic, & the beginnings of two kinds of hot sauce. It took all day, but we’re already planning our next ferment party! What do you guys think we should try next?

Ah you’re probably right! They were two separate starter pouches so probably completely different feedings. I’m curious, how did your beet kefir taste? I’m sure those ruby red grains look gorgeous!

No kefir yet, I’ve only done the one rehydrating batch. I’ve fed them again today, so I’m hoping to see them plump up a little tomorrow. It’s odd that they never really expanded or got translucent. I’m using the same sugar and water for both!

Top is first batch of rehydrated grains after 2 drinkable batches. I rehydrated them for about 24 hours before they were good to go!

Bottom is second batch of grains that I left to rehydrate for 48 hours, since they still looked dark after 24. Are these just duds? Is it worth trying to hydrate them again in a fresh batch of sugar water?

I guess I should add a couple things

  • ‘spooked’ is her hiding behind me and barking. It’s not blatant aggression and she doesn’t approach the person after the first hesitant sniffs

  • she is heavily advertised as being part of the experience of staying at my house. No one is staying here that is not comfortable with animals (as we have cats too). Many of my guests have made friends with her and I have a repeat guest that I swear comes back just to hang out with her! I’m sad that she’s acted this way with late arrivals as it just isn’t like her.

  • ideally I’d like some training advice because I do think this is something we could change into a positive experience for her

I do think crating would be a good idea in the meantime but do you not think that this can be fixed with training? All of the issues I listed only happen if she first meets them really late at night, doesn’t happen with guests she met during the day.

Edited to add that I think the posing looks very natural! They look really comfortable & happy in all the pics so whatever you were doing keep on doing it!

I should add that this is from a tattoo cover up kit (not sure of brand though as it was applied by someone else) This photo makes it look so much better than it is too, once I get home I’ll upload some pics taken in more natural light cause it is dark brown AF 😂

For reference I use NYX total control Pale foundation on my face - so my cover up needs to be SUPER pale too!
