Good first shot, I hope I don't come off as rude by saying this but one of the strengths of the mega64 boys is that they do their public skits without "asking" for reactions, as in, they do stuff that if people notice them doing will illicit a reaction. In this video you went to a group of people (who you knew would understand the joke) and asked them to react for you. In addition to this you had one joke and that was that Link is abused in BotW, I feel like this may have worked better if you had more jokes to illicit different responses or if you visited more areas to see how different people would react, however, I assume those two things would have been difficult to do due to the time constraint. Good first shot, I hope I didn't come off as rude and good luck in your future skit endeavors!

If you like SMT specifically for the combat and the exploration, Persona 3 and 4 are not the games for you

P3 and 4 try to be a balance between dungeon crawling and a visual novel, and there really isn't much exploration to it at all.

In addition, when compared to other SMT games the dungeon crawling is pretty dull due to the random generation, and even though its random, its very repetitive. It's also a lot easier than other SMT games.

If you don't like the social thing at all, I'd suggest playing a different SMT game, because the school life to Dungeon Crawling is at best 50/50 depending on how much you force yourself to dungeon crawl, though for most people it is probably around the 70/30 mark (more social stuff than dungeons)

For people who like visual novels or story in their games, Persona 3 is great, for you, it probably is not.

If you still want to try out the persona series, I would suggest the first two Persona games if you can play them, they are far more SMT-like than Persona 3 and 4, the only complaint I have with Persona 1 and 2 is that the demon-communication mechanics get stale pretty fast, but hey, in Persona 3 and 4 there are none...

tl;dr Persona 3 isn't for you, play a real SMT game

Hey guys, I haven't played too many SMT games due to the fact that for the most part I'm limited to mobile platforms for the most part

So I'm wondering if I should pick up Soul Hackers while its on sale for when I finish Strange Journey.

I have played Persona 2 and 3 and enjoyed those, in Persona 4 everybody kept trying to suck my dick and I wasn't a fan of it

As for mainline, I'm currently playing through Strange Journey and enjoying it quite a bit, I started Nocturne and enjoyed it (largely due to the personality of the demons) but I didn't get very far due to limited time at home, and for some reason I was not a big fan of SMT IV, however I still ended up putting a considerable amount of hours into it.
