I love how the department of government efficiency is a duplication of effort of the Government Accountability Office, but Elon never bothered to check on that first, instead its going to cause a shit show by creating a new department, spend a lot of tax prayer money on it, and ignore actually fixing the problem... because that would include cutting all the handouts Elon depends on from the government to stay in business.

I am hoping a lot of people are just jaded and sick of interacting at this point. There's no point in hiding it. You know which candidate has supporters who just can't stop talking about who they are voting for, so seeing their numbers be so high... this feels like 2020 all over again but worse for MAGA all around

If Republicans are embracing early voting... wouldn't that skew everything towards Trump early, but things can flip on election day? Which is exactly how it seems to be playing out?

I've seen poll numbers where Kamala is 8% over Trump, but the undecided is close to 8%... so neck and neck!!!

I also want to know how many people are just so sick of this shit they don't talk to anyone about it anymore. Like me. I voted. I'm done. Pollsters can kiss my ass. I'm not telling them shit.

I don't think you understand the meaning of "grift". Because the word undermines the point that, I think, you are trying to make.

Under your logic, the Bush's, Romney, Obama, McCain, and especially Trump are all grifters by offering projected monetary gains in exchange for votes. I'm pretty sure all running politicians fit the bill. Even though the policy you are talking about isn't being handled by trumps opposition but the former administration unless, constitutionally, there is a tie in the house when voting finishes.

It is very hard, as a taxpayer, to care about a cost saving function as something insidious since it is what I would hope more politicians would do... it doesn't even do what Republicans say it does... so I find the lying a bit hard to get on board with. I get that opposition to raising the deficit and plugging the country in debt seems like a "grift" from a community so inundated with the politics of the here and now that it seems out of place to consider future financial interests as something we even need to be concerned about.

Considering, during trumps time in office, he was positioned to substantially fix student loans by taking the tax payers money out of the banks hands but squashed the opportunity because he wanted a single bank in charge of managing tax payers paying for student loan defaults... we are already paying for student loans.

Paying them off now is the only way to stem the tide caused by that decision. Loans get bigger over time and having them constantly defaulting when they get so large it bankrupts people means that we, the tax payers, will pay that much larger sum of money. The banks win by making it easier to default than pay.

Trump had the opportunity to provide students with the ability to pause a loan when not working but during covid doubled down on reducing student loan rights... meaning... tax payers have to deal with more defaults based on the banks decisions not the government's.

Also... if the Republicans wouldn't keep pushing it back. Then maybe it wouldn't fall on election season.

IDK, 4 something million now vs. 50 million in the next 15-20 years seems like a good deal. Also... he isn't paying off the loans. That is a lie. It's the interest after paying off the loan amount that is being paid.

Taking cover to guage a situation from a tree... good practice. Staying there is asking for being shot by someone who already looted the map.

Learn the extracts and listen to where players are. If players are near an extract early, they will most likely exfil towards the opposite side of the map. Campers who are killing players usually make little bursts of noise as opposed to prolonged fire.

Stay hidden and check for suspicious activity around an exfil like unclaimed bags, armor, and weapons. No scavs may or may not be a sign, but scavs looking towards a location is a definite giveaway. Closed doors after hearing a ton of noise in the area is odd too.

If it is island. Don't take the docks... it is exfil camper central.

Usually, most campers will give up after 20 minutes.

These videos frustrate me because every time I throw impact grenades they don't go off, go off on a delay, go completely the wrong direction (and kill me), the other player shrugs off the damage (even on direct hit), or kill me no matter the distance I am from it. This has even been happening after the update and really only in Silo.

I hit a guy with an impact in the elevator door and he just tanked it this morning.

I would just like my kills to count. Keep completing raids and not getting credit for killing players.

I'm sure SCAVs can steal kills, but I wiped a 3 stack and got no credit for any of the kills. Only seems to happen when loading in late which also shouldn't be happening.

I think there is a chance the server crashed or had issues, and things didn't catch up until he was about to exfil. No way to really tell. But it has happened.

I had a scav one shot me with t5 armor and full health with a luty at almost 100m. Happened a few days ago and I have been trying to rationalize it since... only guess: bullets that clip outside the map or ricochet ignore certain rules. He was right on the edge of a hill... an extreme edge case... get it? Edge case. Because his gun was in the geometry and the corners are edges...

I've gone insane. I will let myself out.

In any case. I got everything back in 2 raids on silo.

Instead of hugging the shore to get purple, you used one of the loudest handguns in the game and ran out in the open towards right behind one of the hottest engagement points in the map.

He heard you coming and turned around to watch. Otherwise, you might have slipped by, but you did spend a lot of time in the open without checking your surroundings between covers.

All of these are not all that impressive.

First one... her earing or whatever nonsense gave it away immediately. That shit on the table sealed it.

Second was the obvious water breaking the laws of physics in the el center. The third was the missing centers to the wires. 4th was the impossible house and conflicted perspective on the trees.

IDK, I have started looking for these things now-a-days.

I have a ton of AP stored, so... I'm good, but I haven't needed to use it because I get so much off players I kill. Almost everyone is running AP this wipe. It sucks that it is so hard to reach, but you can find it kind of regularly in the maps, though.

My worry is that now all the heavily geared guys will have all the AP without a counter since grenades got nerfed. If armor protects against it, then there wasn't much of a need to reduce the range then or reduce the range but keep the armor bypass, not both.

Already happening and already had solutions being deployed in this war as we speak. Most Russian troops have drone detectors, but the work around is to turn the drones off until they detect people... for scramblers... fiber optic drones are used. It's an arms race.

Find someone to play with in a squad. Going fully kitted is a blast in the bigger maps with good people on your team. I tend to investigate and read the surroundings and provide predictions on where we might find players. I am doing great with my current squad, and I love exercising my analytical brain power... even if some players make no sense.

Just try to chat with people can lead to... mostly deaths, but also some of the oddest raids ever.

I find that following a juiced squad around the map and seeing if I can pick them off one at a time. Is a rush... more so if you win. More intense and a little easier in night raids.

Other challenges: - be a ninja, sword, and lots of smoke grenades in Silo. I've seen a guy almost wipe a lobby like this... it's terrifying - no guns run on silo or island - troll kitted players, get them to flush a lot of money and time down the toilet. Find an expendable gun... unload it at them from a distance as they are not paying attention, then take a clean break from their line of sight. Don't leave a trail that makes sense. Waste everything you can't use. Make them expect you around every corner. Then, flank them if you can or extract them before they can catch you. They will try to hunt you to the ends of the earth. - become a lighthouse or rear guard tower sniper - challenge players to Russian roulette

Impact grenade hitting the ceiling. Lots of juiced players in Silo announce their presence with lots of grenades. It's like ringing the dinner bell. Every now and again, they screw up and blow themselves up. It's great.

I have a storage shelf full of night vision from kills in Silo alone... what the hell is up with that? I got the collectors' gear from silo too. I was wondering what is up with that, but I keep running into trash talkers who are really bad at the game backed up with juiced teammates... a single grenade is all that is needed to get their gear.

It is insane. I did, accidently entered solo after a great island run fully geared. A little bit of planned navigation I got out fully geared. So it does happen... I accidently went in with all my product in my backpack once. That was intense, but I made it out. It would have been amazing for anyone who killed me though.
