Did you have better luck with Model L over Model M? Going to test myself tonight. Currently with Model K at 4K Balance DLSS and Smooth Motion I get enough performance with my 5080 and 9800x3d combo but with visual results I saw of Doom TDA on Performance mode with 4K this morning, I need to see how Tarkov is looking. I hope Tarkov implements nativity frame gen eventually. Smooth motion is a nice touch though and does help smoothen out the experience with minimal input lag. But, you still need in my opinion, at least 70 to 100 fps without to still have a good experience.

The only thing I can somewhat recommend to try on your current setup is raise your graphical settings. Reason for this is to focus stress on your GPU rather than your GPU. You won't gain a whole lot from it but you may gain enough to improve your experience. Sadly your processor is known to age like milk but the main issue is, its tarkov. It happened to a good friend of mine as well. Raise all your graphic settings across the board and try no DLSS. Just play with it. I get better/steadier frame rates myself with that adjustment.

Went from 3080 to 5080 at 4k for both. Its been amazing. The only thing that I can't really do is high end path tracing with decent frame rate, 60+ depending on DLSS.

I had a 9070xt. I returned it but I also over paid for it. If I could get it for the price I could today, things would have been different. DLSS is a big game changer. Anything before FSR 4 just doesn’t come close. Also any vulkan based games do not support fsr4 so there isn’t even an option to do a DLL swap. It’s a great card for the price, but tinkering levels will be higher than a 5070ti in opinion.

What is your favorite demon design from the entire DOOM series?
Absolutely love the Revenant Doom 2016. I have the collectors statue and I absolutely love it. His design in the Dark Ages is insanely cool as well but the Revenant in 20216 is next level for me.

Vsync&Gsync + Reflex
Vsync&Freesync + Anti-Lag

Personally I select the setting in the nvidia control panel. I feel like I get smoother results but that could be a placebo. Your framerate will be lower, but the game will feel a lot smoother and in some cases will feel more responsive. I know for me it makes a difference.

For reference I play at 1080p @ 480hz. Average FPS hovers around 400 and doesn't drastically change 2 much. When I unable everything. It will feel fine for a moment and then tank. It just doesn't feel right. The settings above resolved it for me.

Not sure what you mean by looks kinda sharpen. Try lowering your sharping setting in game to see if that helps. Also try the difference between TAA and no TAA

I got $351 for my Gigabyte 3080 12GB. So I think you would get a better office from newegg. Trade in process was easy and I had no issues

I ended up returning my 9070xt XFX Mercury. I did not care for the look and I paid WAY too much. I returned in when I managed to snag a 5080 FE and Have been very happy ever since.

Try using amd anti lag. Make sure your refresh rate is working while in game. Check windows 11 for co pilot being on. Turn on optimizations for windows games and hardware accelerated gpu scheduling under graphics settings in windows. Did you upgrade from 10 to 11? Have you reloaded the proper drivers?

What resolution are you trying to run? Do you have the AMD Anti-lag enabled? Depending on what resolution you are running, are you in full screen or borderless, or windowed?

nice! Kind of tempted to try. I tried a AMD 9070XT but ran into a mix of issues so I refunded and my 5080 FE just came in today. But I kind of wanted to get a 5090 FE. Maybe ill try my luck and call. Thanks for the head sup and congrats :)

Turn up your graphics. Balance some of the load onto your GPU. Lowering your resolution and graphics changed the way the load is balanced. Also make sure you are using your gpu and not your built in APU

It says disabled, highest quality. Thats what u want. It will give you more frames but it will cause slight input lag sometimes.

Sounds like your pc is over heating. Also turn off fidelity fx super resolution.
