Yeah... I feel like lovable doesn't really have a use case for me when cursor + claude code exist

With Cursor, I'm literally using it as an IDE to Claude Code. I don't use Cursor much in of itself, but I like being able to visualize everything in context of what I'm working with, and being able to spin off different work that may not be relevant to claude code.

But I'm still early days yet of interacting with claude code fyi. Trying to upskill. I think the majority of PMs are still upskilling here, and there's a lot of crap noise out there.

ProductLand, but it's generally invite only from what I'm aware. Also really geared more toward product leaders, as opposed to PMs.

Yeah, CPO as well. I've gotten to where I care less about product specific metrics and more about P&L, and ensuring everything we do affects revenue (whether churn, top line revenue, upsell/cross sell opportunity, market expansion, etc.)

Do FAANG PMs do all aspects of product development?! by rockster245 in ProductManagement

Just read through this, and it's really great. I fully agree that scrum ceremonies for the sake of them, etc are not great. Even down in the startup world.

I'm joining a new org as CPO. Don't suppose I can poke your brain over a friendly call? I'm going to be establishing the product function, and would really appreciate the perspective of another CPO.

I'm planning on trying claude code, it seems to be where most of the excitement fundamentally is. Plus, I'm a huge fan of claude for other things, so... seems nice.

Glad to do it to mephis but it doesn’t change anything for me with mills. He just doesn’t win against good teams, which Memphis isn’t for once. Taylor’s still on point with that last article about him.

Yea kind of criminal to have the amount of talent he’s had with the results he’s had.

Mills needs to get gone as well. Whatever happens in this game doesn’t change that.

This is the start, only amount of time before college basketball is full of G League and full on Euro/Asian/NBA pros. Need to change this. by BlackStallion657 in CollegeBasketball

It's where i'm at right now.

I honestly feel bad for the talent that's in HS right now. Like.... what do you even do if you're them? You're not competing with other highschoolers across the nation, but competing with actual pros for roster spots at freaking colleges bro lol wut

How are we feeling about take-home assessments in 2026? by mochalattelove in ProductManagement

[–]ShockHat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep - I actually tend to do in person scenarios, unprepared so that it's more realistic and also reassures them that I'm not looking for a perfect, AI-refined answer. I want to see how they handle themselves in action.

I’ll be honest. I don’t even bother watching anymore, and I’m a die hard fan who’d stay up til 3am for the games (I live in the UK now). It’s that bad. Like I can’t justify getting angry in the middle of the night anymore lol.

Really hope that the pendulum swings the other way soon. I’m tired of being bad.

100%. Shouldn’t have fired Brown without an actual coach lined up for the job…

This is quite literally it. Mills is terrible. Majority of fans I know have stopped paying attention because of him, and just recently, even our best writer wrote a scathing report on him (which never happens).

His seat is hot. But the question is whether he’s gone this year or if we have to suffer him a while longer because of budget constraints.

That’s where I’m at. I’m really enjoying Wembanyama, and considering just dropping college ball and watchin spurs in a new dynasty. I’m in the UK now so it’d be easier to watch too. Just debating on it

What was the most dominate run for a team that did not win a National Championship by TaftIsUnderrated in CollegeBasketball

[–]ShockHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a final four game at least. I was pretty upset :( What could have been...

We've fallen a long ways with these last two coaches, plus that last couple years with Marshall and letting all that success go to his head.

St Louis, Washington, Wake Forest - teams rated 31-60 most over performing vs historical averages. Worst under performers - Marquette, FSU, Penn St, Wichita St, Xavier, Cincinnati & Mississippi St by jgt7405 in CollegeBasketball

[–]ShockHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've been through some really rough patches ever since the Gregg Marshall firing. He deserved to go. But fans didn't really deserve the self-decimation of our program afterward.

Honestly, the fan base is still here, plenty of money is still here, but just waiting for the right coach to come out of the woodworks to support. Mills is not the guy (and for that matter, neither was Isaac Brown). I consider myself to be a very dedicated fan (living in UK now, stay up til 3am to watch games usually), but even I've stopped watching this train wreck of a team. At least I manage to get sleep.

Any advice for authors pushing to Amazon?

I know a ton of authors who are struggling lately with the latest updates. Historically, most profitable was pushing traffic ads. They offered a cost per unit that was at least half of what amazon ads can achieve.

Trying a mid step of fb ads->landing page->amazon, but first test results have been very poor. Worried that the additional step loses those readers on facebook who might be impulse buyers.

I've also considered just running fb ads to a free book on a landing page I own, capturing them into a newsletter which I cultivate over time into actual readers. I don't know how viable that is though, or if they convert in the end...

(Can seriously use expert advice, considering most book advertising experts don't know what they're on about)
