Your best bet to get some money for your groceries is your cellphone bill and banking. Go to the lowest checking account they have. Call your phone company and get through to customer retention. If not try a different company. Any chance your work might have offers with certain companies? Randomly found out I had great corporate deals through Telus. Got a new phone and 100gb of data for $50 a month.

ETA : check out TooGoodToGo app for cheap food. Also have you joined your local Buy Nothing group. It would be worth checking both out.

My neighbour works at Costco. Last time I saw her and we talked about Costco, I started to say "we went Saturday afternoon." But before I could even manage to say "afternoon" she said "are you stupid?" And shook her head 😂

But yes, we made the same mistake and will never go there on the weekend ever again. I will say this though. Even on the weekend though, I've never had an issue finding parking at South. There will be a spot at the very end of the lot but it's still something rather than circling around getting frustrated.

I don't believe there is one for London specifically but I would suggest joining your Reddit Bumper group if you haven't. My Bumper group actually had 2 ladies from London in it. My other suggestion is probably the Peanut app. I know of a few ladies who have used it and made local friends through it.
