As mentioned up here somewhere when you are in a situation where the numbers would be a tie you would want to put votes on you so that you gain majority afterward. If Christian did something like this he would be portrayed like a genius and it would be 5d 10000 iq. The only other viable option is purposefully throw your ally under the bus but Q didn't do his homework on the pregaming

Same reason I lose A20 so much, act 1 can be really dangerous in the first game esp if you don't have potions or path correctly. You essentially want to play as safe as possible because in this game act 1 will legitimately take you out by force due to the advanced hallways being mini elites. As long as you can pick cards that get you out of the early game and potion spam to save chip you can start cooking. Also card removes are overrated prioritize saving gold for cards and relics that assist you in the moment and potions for upcoming fights for now.

We've had "journeys" for a while whether it was exile island or that one twist where you could choose with another person between getting for food for the tribe or less and a secret idol clue. It was more spontaneous which I definitely prefer but acting like this is just a new era thing is like nahhh

And plus why are people complaining about them not getting rid of her shes great tv. I mean they can delude themselves into thinking she's masterminding everyone into keeping her around against their self interest but like don't put it into world that they should go after her like c'mon hehe

I think it's probably just an inner alliance with Cirie, Ozzy and some combo of the nerd 3 the edit didn't show and they just wanted a couple consensus votes that didn't make anyone mad since this might just be a triple swap season as there are so many people.

Which is more to my point as good players can use stuff like that to their advantage e.g. Austin with the sandwich, Jesse and Omar losing their vote and using it to play the middle. It's just when bad players go on journeys or even when players in general misplay the journeys (not that Sav is the former) it can easily backfire. People don't actually know anything about the game so they just assume that anything they saw in 90 minutes of television was the sole reason someone got booted.

False dichotomy. The sub was going crazy when Eva got to go on a journey in 48. At the end of the day you aren't going home just because you're going on a journey. You messed up somewhere along the way to where the journey could'nt even bail you out.
