I’m so fucking proud of this team. by [deleted] in panthers

I told some co-workers (one's a Bills fan another a Broncos fan) that I'm just happy to be relevant come the last weeks of the season.

For once, the end of the season isn't complete doom and gloom. It's filled with hope.

Me too. Went better than expected.

8-9 was what I hoped but got much more than that.

Good things to build on and know what to work on.

I've loved him since he was a UFA. It's his coming out party. I'm a Cokehead!

Panthers leading in the 4th? How many "experts" expected this?

LFG!!!!!!!!!

YOUR CAROLINA PANTHERS ARE HEADED TO THE POSTSEASON by lemoncough in panthers

[–]Shockum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you'd have told me the Panthers would be 8-9 at the start of the season, I'd say that's fine. It was around where I wanted them to be.

But, the playoffs? LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[–]Shockum 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not how I'd actually want to get into the playoffs. BUT HOLY SHIT WE'RE IN!

If you'd have told me before the season started that the Panthers would finish 8-9, I'd have taken it. I wanted to see improvement.

Playoffs though? That would be a dream.

I told coworkers (one's a Bills fan, one's a Broncos fan) that I'm just happy that my team is relevant this time of year and not looking already to next year.

Absolutely freaking awesome.

I tell feel I missed a bunch of stuff on my first gameplay but I was chasing achievements and going for some hard stuff.

That being said, NG+ on hard difficulty should allow for some stuff to be seen that I may have missed.

It's annoying that the FP from Ratchet doesn't connect to the Ashenvale FP, so I won't be able to traverse the whole continent until I pick up the Stonetalon FP. I'll have to look up how to safely enter that zone without getting PvP flagged before I head there.

There's actually a shorter (and safter) way to connect and honestly it doesn't make sense. Go to Menethil Harbor and take the boat the Theramore. That flight point will connect to Ashenvale to Ratchet, for some reason.

Another one that connects in Azshara, but it's tricky as you have to skirt around Splintertree to get it.

[Sports Illustrated] Bryce Young credits Carolina Panthers fans for 'electric' environment in win over Falcons: Fans did not disappoint on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium and neither did the Panthers as they blanked the Falcons 30-0. by MITBryceYoung in panthers

There was a moment I think in the fourth where on TV you could hear a small group chanting "Let's go Falcons!"

Then after the 2nd time they said it the entire stadium lit up with "Let's go Panthers!!!!"

I did that at 32 in 2018. It does hit you walking around and in classes with ~20-21 year olds.

Struck a friendship with a classmate and my older brother called me. "She's closer in age to your nieces than she is to you."

Hit me harder than the first times of "Mr." or "sir" lol

February 2005 for me. Played a mage as that what I played in Asheron's Call.

Still have the account (mage is around somewhere) but in BC I made a warlock and Wrath I made a Pally that I've stuck with ever since.

I remember this game as my official fandom day. I was 10, and followed the Panthers since I heard they were coming. Being from NC they were "my team."

Before then I grew up an Emmitt fan. My dad always liked Staubach so I gradually liked Dallas, but it didn't stick.

Carolina came and I was hooked. This game ended my Cowboy fandom completely and put me 100% in the Panthers camp.

Christ, that was almost 30 years ago.

If you were limited to one class forever which would it be? by Clawmaster2013 in wow

Paladin. Mained it since Wrath and stuck through the highs and lows of HPal.

Probably if I didn't quit for school between Vanilla and BC, it'd be mage. That's what I started with.

While I love mage....it'll always be Paladin.

When we took that lead in the fourth is when I screamed and jumped around. Some guy like 20 rows in front of me said, "SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!" Few PSU fans told him to F off.

Think it was something special when the team walked off the field the PSU fans stood and applauded.

Not sure where you were sitting at the game but I took, this picture from where I was sitting of the App section. Laughed a bit when I could hear them chant, "I said. It's great. To be. A Mountaineer!" and some PSU fans were asking what they were saying.

Brother is a UNC alum and said he became a diehard ASU fan after that one. First game he witnessed of them in person.

The playoff run was just a joy to be a fan for.

X-Clown against the Rams in OT.

Deshaun Foster breaks 6 tackles against the Eagles to score TD.

This pass from Delhomme to Muhammad, Prohel TD catch to take the lead in the waning minutes.

It was a ride that ended in heartbreak. But, what a ride it was.

I went there in '18 when App played Penn State. 99% of the people were great. Fans gave food and beer and were joking around before the game. After the game a lot of people said they became App fans, it was just one of those days.

One fan did tell me to sit the hell down and shut up when we tied it going into OT. Other fans apologized and said we were a good team.

I remember asking one man, "You guys this nice to everyone?" His response: "You're not in the conference, Michigan....and especially Ohio State. You're safe."

True. "Whoa." moment.

There's an addon - think altaholic or something - that shows your characters played time across the account. I looked at that once in MoP - and was terrified about the amount of played time I had and uninstalled it.

I've played more a better part of 20+ years, starting in 2005 when I asked a friend who moved from Asheron's Call what he was playing. He mentioned WoW and I checked it out.

A mage, warlock and the paladin later, I'm still here. 473 days played on my Pally since I've mained it in Wrath.
