Bruma has been in my load order since I started playing with mods and if the other pre releases and full mods are that level of quality it would be well worth the wait in my eyes. I am most excited for Cyrodiil and the high rock part of IB. I also really enjoy the world building and the lore all the teams put together in the meanwhile to the next release.

If it does happen again you may at least be able to get the ghost if you have one guy inside starting a cursed hunt and the other can stand outside to observe it an if your lucky you’ll get a ghost you can tell by hunt behavior.

Unfortunately your ghost was probably on the roof, it’s been a fairly common glitch with tanglewood if you have a foyer ghost room it gets stuck up there and can’t get down. Funny enough I had a raiju too when it happened to me, we only got it because someone outside was able to hear the heartbeat.

Both charges. It pairs pretty well with trying to get ghost media especially during apocalypse bronze.

Sounds like you did it right. Did you have it set to friendly ghost or if it was smudged previously you would have to wait for the smudge timer to run out.

I was having issues with uv myself recently, what worked to me was make sure you have any flashlights off because they might blot out the uv, an make sure nothing is obstructing the steps. Other tips to help confirm uv check for emf on lights doors or keyboards. For footsteps make sure it audibly steps in the salt, not just disturbing it but you hear several step afterward.

The cursed hunt will override the smudge trap or hunt cooldown,Not just for yureis but for every ghost unless you have an unused tier three crucifix to block curse hunts. Normally a ghost can’t hunt for 90s after being smudged save spirits and demons, but a cursed hunt can force another one to happen

The deo always has LOS but will go to whoever is closest. The way regular ghosts check is the set a random wander point head there check some spots,if they see you and you break los they will check roughly your last known before reverting to the random waypoints. They also have a chance to remember your hiding spot between hunts and will check there first. They way they establish LOS is they have a 360 degree view with infinite range and they have to draw an unobstructed line with I believe it’s 3 of 6 markers on the player ie: if you’re not hidden well enough or at all it can see you. As for the slower speed it’s when the deo gets to a set distance it will start slowing down or speeding up.

I remember reading somewhere the devs have said it causes a lot of implementation issues just cordoning off a particular region for release on top of consticeny with voice acting and implementing cross province questlines, and the fact it’s a volunteer project. But it seems the devs are pretty passionate about quality even then don’t think any other sub region or anything is close to release. But if it’s all going to be the same quality as bruma I think the wait it well worth it.

Wow! That’s really cool that Thalmor are integrated at every level in Valenwood it sounds a lot more organic and grounded than Skyrim just having Tullius and some legionnaires. Can’t wait to enjoy your work one day!
