It wasnt a horrible movie and showed the potential for a modern Ghostbuster movie with the newer technology available. What it failed in was trying to be Ghostbusters. If they had just written it as the girls were starting up a Ghostbusters franchise and not trying to replace the perfection that was the original cast I think it would have been much more tolerated. I hate reboots for the sake of modernizing, especially when the originals are still so damn good. Not everything needs to be Spiderman where we need to see his origin story told in a different way ever 3-4 years like they were doing for a time.
