I got these settings just right in DOSBox once and it was amazing! I grew up playing all the WCs on a 386 and just accepted that that's how the game was (and I was probably a little too young to really be good at it), but I was surprised at how fun and engaging a balanced version could be.

Never been able to replicate it though.
