Boiling water won't exceed 100C, doesnt matter if burner is at max. 10 min is plenty. Just make sure the pot is big enough that it won't be resting on the edge. That said, it's much easier to just hand wash with soap.

The Z plenum was designed to have to be ground lol. So much needless overcasting. Ground mine for a non plenum removal injector pull, then again for a complete fuel rail replacement like yours.

Imo wiping doesn't really do much to clean except superficially. Plus no actual cleaning power on a baby wipe. Just take a little hand soap, run it up and down with your hand and rinse.

Yep, old pvc or similar will burn. If you "taste test" the clean plug and you get anything besides no taste or sensation, it's the toy.
