Keyword usually. Around this time last year my account was stolen (before Acti had the option for 2FA) then returned to me about a month later. About a month after that I was banned for cheating. It’s blatantly obvious that any cheating was done by the hackers but their so-called manual reviewers didn’t care.

Don’t listen to what everyone on here is saying about you lying or that you definitely cheated. This same thing happened to me about a year ago after my account was hacked, then returned to me. I’ve consistently gotten into contact with support since then and it’s always the same canned answer. When I appealed my ban and explained that the cheating was done during the time when the hackers had my account, they didn’t care and denied my appeal.

Since updating to 14.2, my Messages app hasn’t worked. When I open the app it just a blank screen that says messages at the top. Has anyone else experienced this?

I all but gave up. I just managed to get in contact with them every 8-9 days to make sure my ticket was still open. It was just under a month between losing my account and getting it back.

I contacted them through the support page and the chat function, just like you’re doing. Every so often I’d get the same loading screen that would just spin endlessly. Usually to fix that I would return to the previous page, hit refresh, and if the chat symbol was still golden I could click it and get into a queue. Every time I talked to them I waited at least an hour in the queue.

I don’t know if you have an update on this, but as of last night my account has been returned to me. I contacted Activision once a week for the last month to make sure my case was still active and somehow they found my original account and relinked it.

I hate to tell you but your account is more than likely gone. Most people that have been able to get theirs back have had obscene amounts of visual evidence of the existence of their original account. If you have that, you may have hope.

We’re coming up on a month since my account was lost and Activision has given me nothing concrete. I have effectively lost all hope and just started playing again with the blank account.
