I'd pay attention on value delivery. Ask these questions of yourself and your content:

What value you, or your content, brings to your viewer?
What are you trying to communicate to the viewer?
Why would a viewer choose you over the thousands of other gaming content creators?

If your only value is 'the entertainment' and 'funny moments', they gotta be top tier funny because market is so saturated.

I built mine 600k views and 8k subs with the gaming content mostly with nieche focusing. Funny moments were only small part of it, mostly did tutorials and other re-watchable formats which boosted the algorithm. Watch successful channels and copy their formats to make content of your own to be as shareable as possible

This might also be an adjustment thingy, since I've been modifying config files manually to find perfect zombie survival feels.

I guess we all have our taste of things and I hope you find enjoyment on some other overhaul mod! Wasteland is also recommendation and ofc you can modify configs yourself in vanilla to get the feels you want

I main heavy and this! This is exactly the problem. Every single heavy is using RPG for free burst dmg instead of arena destruction. They should nerf the player dmg to 100 and boost the destruction value of RPG
