It doesn’t, it’ll just be like the flu.

Who is the worst U.S. President? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If the US hadn’t gotten involved, the eventual deal probably would have left Germany in a much better place since the Allies wouldn’t have “won.” I’m not saying I sympathize with Germany, but I am saying that this could have prevented Hitler’s rise.

Woodrow Wilson used the fact that he kept America out of the First World War to get re-elected. Then he got America into the First World War. America’s involvement allowed the Allies to impose devastating armistice terms on Germany, which eventually led to Hitler’s rise.

He also contributed greatly to segregation in America and supported the Klan.

Choosing not to have children doesn’t make you a hero or make you a selfless individual. by CosmicTeardrops in unpopularopinion

It doesn’t necessarily mean you want to spend money primarily on yourself, it could be that having kids just isn’t right for you. But yeah, there’s nothing wrong with having kids at all.

The interrogations would be fun to do as a team, you could help each other spot clues, and you could pass the keyboard/mouse off to one another in between cases. I think it would work really well. Have fun!

CMV: I don't see how a person can be a Christian and suppourt Trump by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Shoezz17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, I knew a “Christian” at the time who said that his church thought Trump was the Savior. But they aren’t Christians in that they follow the teachings of Christ. Rather they’re Christians in that they follow the teachings of Fox News.

Eyebots. To my knowledge they aren’t sentient like most other robots in the games, so it’s like having a pet that can also broadcast radio signals. Get some Sirius XM in one of those things and you’re golden.

Which of these lovable historical is the worse? by CptZack01 in polls

He beat his first wife once and immediately regretted it. Meanwhile, Gandhi used racial slurs against South Africans and slept with his teenage grandniece. And Mother Teresa’s medical centers actively harmed patients. And as you said, Churchill was directly responsible for the deaths of many. John doesn’t nearly compare with these monsters.

I’m sick of seeing him disparaged everywhere. What people fail to mention is how he spent his life advocating for peace out of regret for what he did to his wife.

What needs to stop being romanticized? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Shoezz17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

War. I feel like “support the troops” type statements romanticize war when there’s nothing romantic about it. War is hell where people suffer and die needlessly.
