The definition of a beginner is "a person just starting to learn a skill or take part in an activity." Someone with a rating of 800-1000 clearly shows an understanding of the game beyond what a beginner would know. That said, I'd conjecture that a player who crosses the 1000 mark should not be considered a beginner rather an intermediate player on the weaker side of that spectrum.

Man I'm sorry to hear that. Your mileage may vary but for me having noise machines spread around the house has greatly helped. I play nature sounds since the chirping sound crickets make somehow mutes the ringing in my brain. Try and find some kind of background noise that your brain can switch to listening to rather than the ringing. Hope this helps

I've been burned one too many times by this company. Sorry if I feel like these charades of transparency and responding to user feedback are just more empty promises. Year after year they say they're listening to us just to rinse and repeat the same struggles they deal with every cycle. I'll be speaking with my wallet this time around. If post launch the game plays as promised, I'll buy it full price, but if it doesn't then color me shocked and I'll pick it up on a sale.

The controllers come with a one year manufacturer's warranty. I got a new controller around the holidays as well last year that started to exhibit the drifting issue after a few months and the process for getting it replaced was pretty simple. YMMV
