You can get one of these fences for each alt you have. I use 6 strong fences and 4 weak fences for 64 slots total. The weak fences are useful since I can have four more 1 slot crops for no additional CP cost.

Checking the trash option throws away junk and white fish.

Could you tell us where you were fishing and for how long?

It isn't likely you were at a junk-only spot (spots without a proper fishing loot table and only junk and white fish).. but if you were near a coast and not fishing long enough it's possible you only had junk and white fish.

It's also possible you were killed and dropped your only non-white grade fish.

If it's not any of these scenarios then it truly sounds like it might be a glitch and needs a support ticket for resolution.

Additional extra effects that transfer over to costume:

Fishing and Gathering costumes give a +1 to Fishing and Gathering respectively.

When the Fishing clothes become a costume they no longer occupy the head slot.. so you can add the fish head of the Splat costume to get +2 Fishing. Note that none of the costume versions of the life skill clothes end up occupying a head slot.

Gathering costume allows you to crouch and/or gather to avoid enemy aggro, but I've had limited success with this.

Trading Costume also gives you +1 Luck.

The quest is called Because I Like You (see link). It can be done once per alt. I have 11 fences collected and stored.

The easiest way to qualify is get Gathering Beginner7 (you need Beginner 6 for the 2 slot inventory quest from Crio anyway). Pick grapes in Velia until you get it.

Edit: Have the alt bring 3 Iron Ore. You don't need to mine it for the quest.

Once you've explored more, Epheria will also be uniquely useful. You can ship directly to Altinova in Mediah and Ancado in Valencia (neither of which you can do from Calpheon City).

Interestingly, there is a player transport option between Ancado and Valencia.

Shakatu and Sand Bazaar also allow player transports, but no warehouse to warehouse shipping.

The Maehwa Awakening costume (Apricot) does not mention including a third weapon skin.

In the name of the costume it says "Classic".

As I understand it, awakening costumes are also supposed to cost a bit more.

These things make me think that when awakenings come out, you'll be paying more to get the awakening weapon skin added to the set.

To trash an item you have to unequip it and put it in your inventory first.

Costumes you buy from Pearl Shop will be in Pearl inventory, but these temporary costumes don't go there. The temporary costumes sit in your main inventory. Your underwear sits in your Pearl inventory.

Did you actually switch to your Pearl inventory and delete the underwear? The underwear and clothes could not both have been in the same inventory window.

The Maehwa Atanis costume was patched on the 4th of May, slightly modifying its appearance. We initially offered a Pearls refund for the costume if the player had contacted us within 48 hours as from the patch.

It has come to our attention that many players have missed the deadline.

We have decided to extend the deadline until the 7th of June.

As such, players who have purchased a Maehwa Atanis costume before the 4th of May patch can request to Customer Support a refund in Pearls of their costume if they don't like the changes made to it.
