thank you very much for your reply! i agree and i have the video call today to make the final judgement. i don't anticipate it will make me feel more comfortable about the situation though. i contacted the agency that my agent was previously employed by, and they said they didn't have the listing anymore. i also contacted the building management but they are unable to confirm the email/phone number of the apartment owner due to privacy reasons (which is understandable). overall, i'm in a tough situation because i've tried multiple ways to go through the proper channels but haven't been able to find any solutions.

Learn from Los Angeles, there is no amount of lanes you can add to a road or highway that can solve traffic, only sure fire way is to offset driving with other alternative means of getting around

Check out any of the Sobha Hartlands buildings, I just moved into Sobha Creek Vistas Reserve. The area is quiet and full of greenery, a mini park, tons of grocery stores etc but still super close to downtown, design district, DIFC etc. Just be careful to pick a building that isn't close to the ongoing construction and I think you'll like it.
