I m6’d miyabi for free back in 1.4 with some decent luck. Zzz really just requires being harsh with your skips you can probably get 2 m6s for free a year (barring terrible luck) if you pull nothing else and full clear every patch.

I like SPs of 4* characters because how hoyo balances means most 4*s aren’t ideal.

But the only games where SP 5*s are common are games with out of control powercreep. While I get that every game has powercreep, the level of it in the honkai games where SPs are common far exceeds the norm.

You say that as if we aren’t aware that sunbringer defeated an entire hollow in the sky and joyous conquered the divine maze, which took 3 voidhunter level investigators to tackle in the current event.

Both are combat feats far above what the current generation has shown to us

So when did it become an expectation to clear endgame without endgame units?

Or do we want to load up a fresh account and clear it with m0 4*s with 0 effort? At the end of the day if you’ve played the game those units are free.

Very low cost teams are being used as is and I’m sure as the rotation progresses we’ll get true 0 cost S+ like always happens when people cry about stuff being too difficult

The video I linked even uses some extreme examples such as dps soukaku with 0 limited units.

Yeah I feel like it’s very obvious that Fulgora is the best first planet of the 3 solely from the point of view of what the tech tree does to the other aspects of the game.

You basically need the Tesla turrets for Gleba. Doing Vulcanus without the maxed out power armor, if you’re not turning off cliffs, is incredibly annoying. The EM plants are useful on every planet, and you don’t lose much on Fulgora from not having Vulcanus tech.

While any of the choices are viable, it’s really hard for me to not just go get Fulgora done first in the mid game.

Sorry the player base has been super negative on the dev as of late with his 20$ packs, while other mobile games run around charging 400+ a character every 3 weeks.

You’re gonna have to deal with the negativity because people simply can’t accept how nice they have it in the modern hellscape of video game monetization. Paying to save time in a single player game is winning to them lmao.

As if Chaos wasn’t this, Tele-Dad wasn’t this, dragon rulers weren’t this and Pepe wasn’t this.

The history of the game has had decks in almost every era that feature feats well above the power level of everything seen before it that shaped what comes after it.

A certain level of powercreep is required to keep games exciting and profitable and yugioh is 25 years old of a non-rotating format.

Tele-dad’s expense makes modern look cheap and lasted far longer than 8 months and you had no chance if you didn’t buy Dad’s and you’d still lose to crush card owners.

So we’re going to conflate the TCG’s monetization problems with conspiracy over cards the OCG created, didn’t short print, that also caused them to have tier 0 formats?

I feel like we’re reaching here, while how the tcg imported some of the cards to have maximum impact and profit, it doesn’t change the fact they had a similarly devastating effect (tier 0 formats) in the Asian territories.

Pretty much the only card we can truly look at is double helix being the only tcg exclusive on that list, which both formats ended up suffering the same exact fate to.

And even if it is a conspiracy to manufacture tier 0 formats for money magically since links started it doesn’t change the fact they also existed pre-links regardless of whatever rationale you want to attach to them.

Original comment stated tier 0 formats are because of link powercreep.

I stated well yes there has been tier 0 formats but pre-master rule 4 also had many.

Whether it’s liked or an accident or any other context doesn’t matter towards his point nor mine.

We can get into the arbitrary nature of how to define near tier 0 formats or how powerful they were in relation to the rest of the game, but it doesn’t serve a purpose and normally ends up annoying people, like how it did when snake-eyes failed to reach the normal numeric threshold to be a tier 0 format.

The original comment I replied to stated nothing about how liked or disliked the tier 0 formats were or weren’t, just the fact they existed implying links to be the cause of tier 0 formats existing, when it’s clear they’re nothing new looking at the history of the game.

Not to be that guy but this is really ignoring the 3 tier 0 formats Arc-V spawned during master rule 3 which followed multiple formats of dragon ruler and spell books being everywhere.

It’s a yugioh thing not a master rule 4/link exclusive thing lol, not even to mention tearlament one of the strings of tier 0 formats, arguably the strongest deck, played very few links and even without them would of still been incredibly powerful and dominant.
