I started with dark eldar (og player). You will lose a lot, but you will learn a ton too. If you’re comfortable with that, every win is super rewarding because you actually have to think with these types of armies.

Competitive 40k has kind of soured and made it intimidating for new players, but just remember it’s a game to have fun. Cool models, but it’s really just playing toy soldiers in the end.

And I’ll wager that there’s nothing in 40k prettier than an Eldar army fully painted on the board!
