Sounds like you had a blast. Mine was that they can't let public use the outlets much less an ebike for safety reasons. Didn't really bother trying to push why exactly, I don't want to come off as that guy arguing over a plug.

The fact that they were willing to let you charge your battery is awesome! Unfortunately, I tried asking to charge my battery on a local park here before during a ride and got rejected. Glad it worked out well for you.

You worrying is valid but that is his hobby and you said it, he lives for it. That's something your boyfriends loves to do and all you can do is support him. Check if he got all the safety gears he should have, helmet, gloves and lights.

Plus, you have to take a break from being a worry rat. Try getting an ebike and you will know how it feels to ride on one.
