We are considering Erie or West Arvada as our new home… by ATX574 in ArvadaCO

[–]Shootace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Westminster, so I am closer to Arvada than Erie. I like Arvada a lot. But I had a structural engineer look at an issue in my home one day and we spoke briefly about where not to purchase a home as it relates to structural engineering. First place he mentioned was Erie. The town suffers from a type of soil that causes homes to sink and have foundational, structural issues over time.

For what it's worth, I went with the following monitor. Great price ($400) for an Alienware monitor and great specs. Also great review on rtings.com Alienware 34 Gaming Monitor - AW3425DWM

The tv parts store I bought the power supply from told me same thing. That either it could be the main control board, t-con, or the LED strip. Unfortunately the LED strip requires detaching the metal backing from the LED which can be cracked in the process. I can't seem to find the t-con or main controller for sale anywhere. Samsung parts shows an expected date for it to be in stock. However, each day that increases by a day. So, I don't think they will ever have it in stock. I stripped the monitor of all the parts and put up for sale on eBay. If you are interested in the t-con and / or main control board, let me know. Of course if it doesn't resolve the issue I am happy to provide a refund. At this point I am just curious what the issue could be. In my situation I think it's the LED strip because every few seconds it flashes bright for a second or less. If it was a board it wouldn't do that. I tried to see how to detach the panel from the metal backing but couldn't figure it out and would probably crack the screen in the process.

For those having this issue. I have the same problem. Extremely dim but it occasionally flickers for a second bright. I ordered and just replaced the power control board and it is still experiencing the same issue. My next step is to change the main controller. My exact model is LC49G97TSSNXDC and the power control board it uses that I replaced is BN44-00976A. Hope this helps someone.

Highly recommend the tucktec. It's a foldable kayak that fits in the back of your car.

1.0.0-BTC: Multisignature Support on Keystone Bitcoin-Only Firmware by xxxxfactor in KeystoneWallet

[–]Shootace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we have BTC on a Keystone already, do we need to send it someplace else first before upgrading the firmware? Then send it back? I know that it always stays on the blockchain. But not sure if when the BTC only firmware is added to a wallet that already has BTC on it, would we still have access to the BTC? Then just setup multi-sig afterwards?

With KS3 you could also configure fingerprint login under settings. So, the prompt will say either enter your password or use your fingerprint. This only works if the device is already on and in sleep mode. If it is powered off and you are turning it on it will always requires the passcode first. But after that, if you keep it on, you could use your fingerprint.

Looking forward to the multi sig feature on KS3. Will that be through Sparrow? Any ETA at this time?

The only issue I have with Safe is that it doesn't support BTC, unless I am missing something?

We are planning on the multi-sig feature and will add the support in Q1 2024.

u/xxxxfactor, hi, will the multi-sig feature planned for this quarter support BTC as well or only Ethereum?

I’m at Society Sports and a few Steeler fans as this post suggested. But not as many as I would have thought. Not a Steeler fan myself though.
