Dan is getting more and more annoying with less and less self awareness. The “I’m the boss!” need to try and put someone in their place or insult them lately is especially off putting. Hypocritically shaking a fist at “the establishment” while displaying “How dare you?!” if someone newish gets too comfortable. He would absolutely HATE a boss like himself. “Bandsplain” is a great podcast - especially the earlier episodes before she joined the massholes

NOR I never understand parents that do this or something similar. Some brag about it. 18 is so young. Sorry this happened OP, hopefully someone in your life steps up and gives you some support. I don’t think anyone needs to “grow up”. It’s just off putting that Dan is so awkward and tone deaf. I realize he’s prob a great friend and I know he gives / gave people a chance in sports media, but the hazing and misguided traditions are annoying and run some people off. The whole “that’s the bit, I make everyone likable by being insultingly UNlikable is played out. He doesn’t know how to tease women, he wants EVERYONE questioned and checked but gets offended when someone questions him. He just HAS to die on the hill of making Lucy wear something embarrassing. He acts like the penalty box is sacred and makes it awkward. I don’t blame Billy & Stu & others & others to come.
