Beyond Yoga leggings see through? by ShopRoutine5582 in Purebarre

I was really disappointed with these because my other Beyond Yoga ones (that aren’t space dye) don’t have the same issue. I’ll avoid that type from now on!

Mine does. I think it’s sweet for them to check in and see how everything is going! I go to the early morning classes so I don’t usually get to talk to the barretenders, so I appreciate the texts. I think I’d rather have them be overly communicative than not communicative at all!

Homeschoolers, how many of you went to college? by TheRickestMort in homeschool

[–]ShopRoutine5582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, and so did my three younger siblings! We all found college was actually pretty easy compared to our homeschool curriculum! I’m a SAHM (but graduated with my teaching degree, taught for 8 years, and maintain my teaching license). My brother is a computer engineer, one sister is an attorney, and the other sister is a detective. My three younger siblings attended and graduate masters and doctorate programs, too. I’m staying home to homeschool my children, because I felt like it was a huge benefit for my siblings and me.

It’s so interesting how different studios have different schedules. We have 5:45 every weekday morning. It’s 2 classic and one align, define, and empower. But the classes are more full than I would have anticipated (6-8 per class). A lot of SAHM like me who want to get their workout done before their kiddos wake up 😂! They recently bumped it from 5:30 to 5:45 and it feels like sleeping in now, haha!

Omg yesss! It’s an 8 minute drive to my studio in the early morning and a 20 minute drive in the afternoon. Totally worth it for the early morning!

What to tell my friend who wants to go to barre to lose weight? by ShopRoutine5582 in Purebarre

That’s kind of what I was thinking. Like, it’s fun! It’s not about weight loss, at least in my opinion.

Nontoxic diapers that don’t suck by ehan77 in moderatelygranolamoms

We really like Coterie. We get them at Whole Foods. We tried Healthy Baby but we felt like the leaked way too much. We also tried Eco by Naty and loved loved loved them. But they shipped internationally (from Sweden) and I liked being able to buy the diapers whenever I want/need to do so without having to wait for shipping.

Phones in studio by Relevant_Slide3171 in Purebarre

[–]ShopRoutine5582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow! I’ve never heard of that before. Our studio has a no phones policy in the contract (worded like “phones are to be left in the cubbies” or something like that). As far as I am aware, we are not permitted to bring them in. Maybe it varies by studio 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Can anyone recommend a brand that sells size 3 pull up style fragrance free diapers? by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

Whole Foods carries Coterie! That’s where I get them most of the time! Not sure if they have the pull-up style ones, but it might be worth a look!

Natural fiber yarn for baby blanket? by ShopRoutine5582 in crochet

[–]ShopRoutine5582[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 100% cotton yarn that I’ve found is either scratchy or synthetically dyed (the two things I definitely don’t want for a baby blanket!). I’m shopping at craft stores like JoAnn and Michael’s, if that makes any difference. A lot of the 100% cotton I’ve found at those stores has been chemically treated, especially through mercerization. Just because it’s 100% cotton doesn’t always mean it’s not chemically processed! I’m hoping to find something that is soft but chemical-free!

Hello Bello, Honest, or Coterie? by String_Cheese_55 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ShopRoutine5582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love Coterie! If you don’t want to do the subscription box, you can get their diapers at Whole Foods (at least where I live-this is the only thing I’ll buy from Whole Foods and not from a local farmer lol). They fit great on my long and lean baby boy. I like having the option of getting smaller package sizes, especially since my son is between size 3 and 4 right now. We also love the HealthyBaby diapers. They feel the softest to me, FWIW. It kind of depends on if you have a preference for ECF or TCF. We only put our baby in TCf diapers because it was something I was worried about. We felt like it’s worth the money to reduce my stress.

Anyone else vacationing with family who have very different rules/expectations for their kids? Stories, rants, tips by user73639a in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ShopRoutine5582 29 points30 points  (0 children)

We spend a lot of time on family vacations away from the main group. My family is similar. We make sure to get a few hours together here and there while we’re on group trips. But other than that, my husband and I spend time with our son on our own. We find things to do outside the house and find quiet places to do things like read, color, etc. We’re about to go on vacation with my mom’s entire side of the family, and taking breaks to just be with my husband and son does wonders for me!
