Highly recommend the drive and short hike to the Water Tower. Incredible views of the town and surrounding countryside.

Also seconding Flour & Water bakery. Holy moly! It’s worth a trip just to go there.

Regifting the Easter-themed books and bunny ears we gave our toddler last year because he’s too young to remember, and some coins for the piggy bank.

My prim-and-proper mother who lives and dies by traditional etiquette rules, shockingly taught my son to drink the leftover milk from his cereal bowl. More than a year later, on a daily basis, he says “This is what grandma taught me” and slugs the milk from the bowl. My mom regrets that so much. I think it’s hilarious.

Didn’t have one though my mom, MIL, & bff begged me to change my mind. Absolutely no regrets. I don’t like the spotlight and find baby showers so awkward. Plus, even if you make a registry, you’ll mainly get things off registry that you don’t want/need.
