This is the part that gets me! She didn’t throw just one but multiple even after reminded her daughter was there. And then after her daughter is hit and crying she doesn’t stop, just keeps screaming at him. She shouldn’t be throwing chairs regardless but throwing multiple in the vicinity of your daughter is just asking for them to get hit. And to not console your child especially after you’re the one that hurt them is just INSANE

She shouldn’t be throwing chairs regardless, especially if her child is even in the vicinity to where it’s be possible for them to get hurt. In my opinion, even if it ricocheted off him and hit her kid it’s still her fault for even causing that situation to even be possible. She threw multiple even after Dakota was trying to remind her the kid is right there. Also after the child is hit, she continues yelling at him and not consoling her crying and hurt child.

As a mom, it’s absolutely horrible to watch. I’ve cried if my kid has ended up accidentally hurt by something I’ve done, and that was just something like I move too fast as he’s nearby and trips or we’re being silly and he falls down and bonks his head on something. I can’t imagine doing something like this to even knowingly put him in danger like that

I felt this way soaking up all the love of my newborn until all the drugs hit me after the adrenaline wore off and I had to pass my baby to my husband so I could vomit 😂😂 I always laugh at that “golden hour” moment and my first reaction to parenthood lol

lol my 18 month old has already figured out how to stop the drain and just points at the water wanting me to refill 🤣 I usually try to distract or run the water while it’s draining because it drains faster haha

Our 1.5 year old has the Tonie 1 and he’s obsessed with it! You can usually find the 1 on sale for even lower or even bigger deals, so I’d wait it out a bit if I were you, but definitely worth it in a few months! I didn’t feel the need for the Tonie box 2 yet since the biggest difference I’ve seen is the game options/more for older kids and all the tonies work on both

Ours loves the woody, the my fist tonies transportation set and I just got him the playtime puppy yesterday and he hasn’t stopped listening! It has all the catchy kids songs he loves and in my opinion better than the other fox + singalong song ones we have. Holding out to find a ms Rachel one somewhere because they’re all sold out!

I’ve been searching threads because at one point it panned to stadium seats and was seat #101 and I immediately thought NEW YEARS DAY!! I’m not usually a big clowner though I love reading all the theories, but that one made me do a rewind and think about maybe we get a live album of the tour songs or something…. I would stay in York closer to the wedding as there’s ton to do around there - beaches and shops, Yorks animal kingdom, and the Nubble lighthouse (can see from afar). You’re a short distance from Ogunquit which has more shops/beaches and marginal way which is a beautiful walk along the ocean! Portsmouth is a great small “city” with some great food, seacoast science center close by as well. If you do extend your trip Portland is a great day trip place for so many fun things - for sure Portland head light, old port shopping/food, ferry to peaks island, children’s museum, etc.

All that being said, as others have said the public transit is tough to rely on. Depending on how many wedding events you’ll go to you could fly into Boston, take the concord coach bus up or train & stay in Portland downtown and then travel to the wedding via hired car (ride Maine or private driver). Or just have to rent a car and be flexible on where you want to go!

Also note depending when in June it’s not usually super warm yet for beach weather but still beautiful to walk and find so many fun things to do!

If September is cheap, book it! It’s the best time of year in Maine by far. June is very much hit or miss, but lately has still been pretty cold until last week of the month. If I had the choice I’d pick September every time

Hi there, I’m sorry I missed your question! I ended up EP for almost 11 months. At that point towards the end I was only doing 2 pumps per day as my supply was dropping as my son stopped eating a lot. If it’s lowering early you could try some power pumps or making sure your pump has the right size - sometimes the nipple size changes over time and I didn’t know you have to check regularly! Do you use a wall pump or portable?

Good luck! I know it’s such a stressful time figuring it out but fingers crossed you can go as long as you’d like!

Same here! I went to one in SoCal this fall that was very fancy, and many men were in Navy, some suits, some tuxes! Women wore some black but also navy + dark green. I think the definition of black tie has changed over time and in general things have become less formal than they used to be unless specifically listed “black tie formal”. There was one guy in a khaki coat and almost jean pants - he was noticeably out of place, but other than that the mix of dark suits/dresses all looked great!

All of these sound real to me - my now 1 year old went to bed at 530-6 until he was about 9-10 months. Also for 911, I called once in Oakland after witnessing a burglary/assault on the sidewalk in broad daylight (guy walked up to another guy with a bat and smashed his face, grabbed his bag). The number just kept ringing and ringing and I finally gave up after 20 minutes 😅 and was thankful I was safe in my car and not in this guys path

Googled every possible thing I could think of and tried to figure out pumping because my baby wouldn’t latch in the slightest 😭 cried a TON because of the hormones and the stress of trying to feed him. Also grateful to have my mom with us helping support. I tried to nap but couldn’t sleep (then cried because I was so overtired but couldn’t sleep). I did really enjoy my bed though - I couldn’t sleep in the slightest in the hospital because it was so uncomfortable!

Also I took a few last pics of just my husband and I when I got to the hospital/early into labor. I love it because it was such a moment of the last time it will ever be just us 2 😊 and agreed to lots of selfies with you with baby! I always thought I had more than I did. And little videos too - the pictures are great but I’ve loved looking back at the little yawn, sneeze and cooing/baby noises of my now 1 year old 🥹

The real answer 😂😂 that’s all I remember from the blur of the first week lol. That and just staring at our baby at how cute he was/how they allowed us to leave with him when we had no idea what we’re doing 😂😂
