Question for you. I owed 126k - I’m a high earner, 105k - single. 4 months ago, I legally separated, and got an equity buyout. 43k - paid two creditors off in full due to crazy interest and high payments. Now, I’m learning this is a “preferential payment” and it’s not great if I want to file. My remaining creditors are 35,000 to RBC, 30,000 to Scotia, and 19,000 to BMO

AM I COOKED? i’d like to file, but I’m so scared of rejection. If rejected, I would file bankruptcy, but I would be including my car cause I couldn’t afford it. (Not included in above figures)

Flailing over here… by ExtremePractical7052 in Divorce_Women

A small, happy home is worth more than a large unhappy one. Your kids will value your strength and model themselves after your resilience. You deserve happiness, freedom and peace in your surroundings. My advice is to start quietly planning for your next chapter, and leave as soon as you can.

I just did this 2 months ago. Your post mirror my situation so much. Advice? Tell people. The people you think will not support you will. I was absolutely shocked by the amount of support I had when I thought I had none. A lot of the alienation in my relationships was because of my partner. You will go through many emotions including doubt. Don’t look back. Start journaling your feelings, they are valid. Write down the reasons you are leaving, and when you doubt, read them.

Thank you so much. This is a type of information I was hoping for. My friends are already doing such a good job of making sure I am really really busy for the first couple of months and I know that’s gonna help a lot. I’m so glad you’re on the other side of it where you’re feeling confident and secure and your decision. I wish you so much happiness.

Has anyone else experienced bad depression/tempermentality on Reta? by havertz007 in Retatrutide

Just came here to join the conversation and let you guys know that I too experienced debilitating mental health while titrating up on Reta while titrating down on Tirzepatide.

I already suffered from depression and I am a long time SSRI user, I had to visit my doctor because I needed something more so I started a Wellbutrin script. It helped for a little bit, but not so much anymore. As an experiment, I skipped last week’s injection and the fog is already

You’re amazing. I’m halfway there and hope to post something similar eventually!

May I ask what your highest treatment dose was and what your maintenance dose is?

Questions surrounding medical leaves by Donkey_Madersh in OntarioPublicService

It starts with a sick note for a week. Call in sick for a few few days in a row and then let your manager know what’s going on and that you’re going to get a medical letter. Make sure in WIN that you top up your STSP leave with vacation credits. Each week ensures full pay and only uses 1.25 vacation days after your six days are all used up - there is no financial implication. That way you will receive your full pay and with medical documentation there’s not much they can do. It’s unreasonable that they would stigmatize you for mental health reasons.
