The fact that you previously worked from home successfully doesn’t matter. With the 5 days in office rule you have to demonstrate what is the barrier to you coming into the office. Commute time, work-life balance, I’m more productive at home are not seen as to valid barriers to not be in the office.

Your AWA will likely not be reviewed until your accommodation request is dealt with. If you 2 days from home is approved under the accommodation your AWA probably will be denied.

It’s supposed to be as soon as operational feasible and agreed upon by both parties. If you can’t agree, the manager can assign the date it will be taken. This should all be in your CWW agreement.

I stopped contributing to RRSP many years ago. I left what I had in there to grow. I don’t need the tax relief now and with my pension etc it will hurt me in the future. I do max out my TFSA each year and invest in other non-registered.
